I work for an Ivy League university. I am great at my job. Help bring in millions of dollars a year. Lead an incredibly high-functioning team of 4. But if I am not fully vaxxed by Dec 8, I will be “removed from the payroll”. Don’t-cha love that euphemism? I am waiting for details on religious or medical exemptions but on principle I don’t think I should have to provide one. This is my line. My hill. Wish me luck.

My son, who is not nearly as irreplaceable as yourself is facing a very similar mandate at his job. He has chosen this to be his hill also. amani3 comment is very helpful but I feel like you, as Americans, how can this be happening? Oh, and a funny aside, after the mandate email was issued, a questionnaire came out asking for input on how employees feel about the company's ethics!!!! Jaw dropping obtuseness, though he may have fun with his response to the question.
Hmmm.. sounds like my place of employment. They gave everyone until 9-30 to get the jab. Also they had a survey they were pushing on us, calling it something like culture of safety. These folks I work for are weird, they take their orders from the Catholic church in MA, some organization there.

Still request an exemption. When people at my ivy league university find out I'm unvaxxed, it is a redpill that breaks their brain. You can see the wheels turning in their heads pondering how I'm casually unvaxxed and they are just like all the other sheep.

Im a Fed too and not wanting to fill out the attestation crap they keep sending out. They are violating my privacy and Hipaa rights. I filed my exemption and not understanding why they “need” us to fill out the attestation stating that Im unvaxxed. Stupid! I havent done it.
Relax. By then the jig will be up. All non vaxxed will automatically become the smarter and respected class of society.
Sounds like what I did when I worked in academia. I was in an "office of research" which was a euphemism for our real work of crafting and submitting grant proposals. We brought millions of $$$ into the university.
Fortunately I saw the writing on the wall a few years ago about the creeping pc bullshit, so I got out while I could still leave on my own terms.

You know whereof I speak, Fren. I have been fighting the non-PC fight for awhile in academia, after years of the same in industry. I hardly know where to go anymore. That stupid Exec Order makes it very difficult to find anywhere to work that contracts with the government. I don't even know if I could be hired as a contractor to do the same job. All I wanted to do was work so that I could travel the world in my old age. Pretty fucking difficult to do that anymore. I know I have it better than 99% of the world in this fucking plandemic, so I hate to whine about it. Just pissed ATM. Thanks for your support!

I refused to beg my old company for my job... just to give them health information for non-drs to decide if I deserved to be able to breathe freely or not so I let them separate me. They play games so you can’t get any unemployment but it is much better to be free! Godspeed, my daughter is at an Ivy League and I hope she’s ok.
I wouldn't worry too much fren. There should be lots of other universities that would be happy to have someone like you working for them.
It's all related to Xiden's Exec Order about all federal contractors needing to mandate the jab. My university decided that meant that EVERYONE regardless of where they are working (I am working exclusively at home right now) has to be jabbed. Other universities (including my former employer in NC) have already made this same decision. I am exploring the space, seeing if there are other universities that are not requiring the vax. I would hate to relocate only to face the same stupid crap elsewhere.
Self-incorporate, so the uni can outsource their job and you can still earn a living. Go get your business cards and website. Into the void ... Geronimo!

I have the exact same "mandate" at my work that I wont be complying with. Lets see who has the tightest grip on the rope when it comes down to it. They will spend over a year trying to find someone with similar qualifications if they actually fire me. Lol
