To add as an observational point of view, I noticed the people I know who watch a lot of TV are the ones on Facebook who are actively angry at Trump and angry at people who don't get the vaccine. The people who cut the cable, don't watch tv and stick with Netflix and don't bother reading the news are the ones least impacted.

Why is this news? If politicians AREN'T getting hundreds of death threats a day, we are absolute losers that like getting anally raped.
Clogging the fucking courts with millions of pedes that threaten the life of a politician might accomplish nearly as much as a guillotine. When millions of people openly feel their "representatives" should get the chair, it could serve as motivation to not be corrupt. They might even make all bribery/lobbying illegal on their own.
