There was definitely footage in the mainstream media of people dressed in Trump gear getting in scuffles with capitol police. To win this argument regarding the narrative it's important not to dismiss what lefties saw with their own eyes.
However, I'm personally of the opinion that many of these "attacks", were coordinated and preplanned skirmishes amongst actors/undercover feds working with the capitol police.

Then there was an overhead view of huge crowd of people coming from the back, side street and pushing their way in. My friend on the phone said they must be plants because its a good 45 min walk from WH to Capitol and streets were blocked off since the day before. This is when I saw the unmarked white buses parked in front of Capitol. Still nobody will say whose buses they were.
Also remember Trump's speech was exactly 1 hour later than scheduled as if he was keeping his supporters safe apart from the crowd already at the capitol.
