Would that be considered an act of war then? I mean, how does one get off without a scratch after threatening an entire governing body of a foriegn country? Especially when the individual doing the threatening holds very high political office in the land from which they originate... Why is this allowable now? Have all laws, rules, and regulations just gone completely out the window now??

I think we should go at them like Trump did to ISIS in Syria.
First you gather intel and track the movements of their lieutenants and assets. Then you do a mass drone strike on that leadership and resources simultaneously. This results in a crippled and disoriented foe to finish off.
Then you move in with teams using shaped-charges breaching wall to wall, clearing every room of every structure. Sweep across the country in that fashion until they’re rooted out like ISIS.
there's every justification for it -- the cartels are waging a war on the US, and have captured their own 'elected' officials. the Mexican people are terrorized by these cartels.
the full scope must include a type of 'Marshall Plan' to rebuild (or build) Mexico. but this is the kind of action I would trust Trump, not the deep state actors.

Most migrants aren’t Mexican, they’re from Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, etc.
If we don’t take them, Mexico might have to. Or that’s my theory.
Maybe Mexico should do what President Trump did? Mexico should build a wall that stopped all illegal immigration and get Guatemala, Honduras and Haiti to pay for it.

He worked with Trump. AMLO's a socialist. He worked with Trump because Trump was actually trying to solve the cartel problem, and he was making progress. This let AMLO take steps to 1) increase his own power, 2) promise security to the Mexican people, and 3) he had promises of economic growth from Trump which would have materialized out of the stability.
Of course, as soon as the socialists here stole the election, installed the Biden regime, and turned the CBP into the last leg of the cartels' smuggling operations, the cartels have been running wild. They've got a completely out of control situation. Cartels are flush with cash and rampaging through Mexico. So AMLO's reverting to his socialist roots and embracing the "reconquista" colonization strategy of just moving his surplus population into the US and eventually setting the stage to claim it all for Mexico.

This is partially the result of currency manipulation. You're not going to have 11 million migrants sending US dollars back to Mexico if the peso were closer in value to the dollar.
Apparently he's not issuing the threat as President of Mexico, but as a representative of the Deep State powers behind all this.
