Hey everyone.
As the title suggests, I have some questions concerning my diet. For context, I am 15 and weigh 150lbs at roughly 5'11. I have been naturally thin my entire life, and always have issues finding pants that fit my waist. As a results, I pledge allegiance to elastic. My situation is definitely not as poor as some of the soyboys at my school, but I would like to get in the gym and gain some.
Unfortunately, I fall into many of the traps that people my age often do. This includes processed food, canned soup, ramen noodles, and sugary sweets. Outside of my diet, I also struggle with sleep, dandruff, probably some vitamin deficiencies, and a few other less notable hygiene issues.
My testosterone is also a concern, However I thankfully still have some balls left. I come from quite a masculine bloodline and my dad is still kicking ass at 64. My levels, if I had to guess, are certainly higher than probably 90% of dudes I know. But with my diet and the aggressive chemicals I use daily (Shampoo, mouthwash, conditioner, deodorants, phthalates, etc.) I am certain I can go much higher.
The base questions I bring are as follows. What should I cut from my diet immediately? What should I add immediately? What supplements, if any should I take? Parasites?
As always, If you have any questions about this post, patterns in my generation, or anything else, ask!
Nutshell answer from an older Pede. I'm glad to see you are looking for the path to righteousness.
Eat lots of meat, fruits and veggies. Eat only complex grains. Variety is what you want. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Processed sugar and white flour are the enemy.
Learn to cook. Kitchen chemistry is fun, interesting, sexy, and delicious.
Work out like a mad lad. Get strong.
Work your mind as hard or harder than you work your body. Your mind is YOU. Your body is a meat bag that carries YOU.
A good way to connect the mind and body is martial arts. I suggest Ving Tsun (Wing Chun) Kung Fu.
Do not put ANYTHING on your skin you would not eat. Read that again. If it goes on you, it goes in you.
Stay stress free. Remember, if you're getting shit, that's a gift you don't have to accept.
Learn how to fuck and please a woman beyond her wildest imagination. Learn how to control yourself when you fuck. Learn to enjoy most the pleasure of your partner(s). The ONE way to hang on to a high quality Daddy's Girl is to excite her. She will want EVERYTHING, but she wants excitement the most. When she thinks of sex, she thinks of you - forever.
Be happy. Be satisfied. Do whatever the fuck you want as long as you don't hurt anyone. Be your own man. Free men do not ask permission. When you wake up everyday believe it's good to be you and everyone else can fuck right off if they don't like it.
Ahem… how do I accomplish 8?
Taking the bullet for the team here.
Check out Stirling coopers YouTube channel. He’s a pornstar who’s also red pilled. He’s got quite a few advice videos that actually make sense. He also covers dating and game.
Read some books. Practice. Remember, masturbation is practice. If you go quick there, you'll go quick when it's time. Use that time to learn your limits and triggers. Read some damn books, and not just shit on the Internet.
honestly I think this should be its own post lmao
Thank you. It was quickly thrown together thoughts. I could write whole book for the young pedes. Since I have not done that yet, real The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. Be like the protagonists in those books.
Thanks for the advice! Especially #8. :)
You're quite welcome Pede. Remember this. You play how you practice (masturbating).
All of your points are strong, except for one. Wing Chun Gung Fu is good, but Jeet Kune Do is better. It's a much more well rounded fighting discipline and one that I was taught in EOD. Once you become proficient, there isn't anyone who can touch you except for (maybe) another highly trained fighter, which are rare.
It's not about fighting. It's about walking the string, and not the bow.
Avoid phytoestrogens, such as soy, or wild yam, I actually just sent this article to my fiance today on foods that help support and boost testosterone levels. Remember that soy is a phytoestrogen, and they put it in damn near everything these days, so read labels on processed foods if you have to eat it.
https://www.yourhealthremedy.com/health-tips/plants-that-boost-testosterone/
Here’s a list of estrogenics across all product lines to avoid:
Top 10 List of DAILY Estrogenics from "Estrogeneration" https://www.ajconsultingcompany.com/estrogenics.html
Oooh, thanks I needed this list.
Damn, this is going to be hard. But hard times create strong men, right?
If you put plastic in the microwave it makes estrogens that leak in your food. Hell, the plastics we consume from using plastic all the time create hormonal imbalances. Especially Chinese plastics.
Calories, calories, calories. Put in more than what you need, and you will gain weight. There is a chance you were eating a lot of food that was low in calories. So basically space filler food. Calories dense foods are perfect for men like you and me with small apetites.
This is a roadmap. The kid should follow this.
High reps --most you can do at 15 reps x3 for me...Yours sounds great. BEST way to add muscle meat fast. OP, hope you read this.
I'd add: pure protein or close to it, liquid, right after lifting for max growth. Can't stress enough...NO cardio same day as weights, especially after. It will ruin muscle gain.
Stop drinking coffee and fizzy drinks. This habit / routine will take a few weeks to leave behind but those things add nothing to your health. Drink water.
Do you prepare your own meals or do you eat with your family?
Instead of watching mainstream media garbage, go for an hour long walk or run each evening and consider that your evening entertainment. Download some podcasts and listen to them while you walk. It will soon become the highlight of your day and it'll be a pleasant way to help you sleep and build muscle tone in your legs. You'll start to get some mild blisters on your feet after a few days, but that's good because you won't be so soft after you heal. I listen to Coast to Coast AM podcasts because I find discussions about famous haunting, UFO cases, strange mysteries and conspiracy theories to be silly but very entertaining.
Predawn walk or run is also good because you get to see the sunrise, if that is more convenient.
The trick with daily exercise is it takes about a month to fully feel like part of your normal routine and when that happens, you'll want to do it and feel compelled to do it.
If you do start exercising in some way, consider adding more protein to your diet to help your body gain muscle mass quickly. Even simple things like eating a huge bowl of high protein Greek yogurt for breakfast will help you a LOT. I leave a serve out each night during winter so it's no so cold. I also add a swirl of maple syrup because it's nice.
Stop eating instant ramen. The food pyramid is a lie because you don't need 5-11 servings of bread / pasta / rice per day. You need mostly just meat and vegetables. Two slices of bread for a lunch sandwich each day and a small serving of pasta or rice a few nights a week is good.
I ask only so we can recommend some quick and healthy meal ideas. You'll be amazed how many delicious, healthy and cheap meals can be prepared in less than five minutes.
Hey!
Unfortunately, my family is separated due to my grandmothers illness. My mom at my grandmothers house, who passed away in May. Still dealing with the legal BS.
This year was pretty shit for my family. Buried 2 dogs and a grandparent. One in march, one in may, and one just last night. So in general, I prepare my own stuff. Mostly microwaveable food unfortunately. My dad still does oven pizza and fries on some nights.
I don't. I would much rather watch something like Barnwood Builders, Gold Rush or Moonshiners rather than having a liberal harpy screeching about how I can only have one burger every month.
Oddly enough, I find the same things fascinating. The Bob Lazar case is very intriguing to me. I can only wonder if some of it is our own government instead of aliens.
I plan on it! One of my Christmas gifts is a barbell, so I can hopefully bring the gym to my house. Would you recommend using supplements like protein powder and creatine, or getting it all naturally through food?
Thanks for the advice, and yes, the food pyramid is complete shit. Even 8 year old me knew that when they tried to drill it into us.
Some people swear by them, however I'm a minimalist who tries to make lasting and permanent life changes and I don't like spending money. Instead, I have high-protein yogurt for breakfast (which is quick and delicious with diced fruit or a swirl of honey or maple syrup) and try to incorporate lots of protein into my normal meals without supplements. It's not as efficient, but I get the same result over time.

Life is a roller-coaster for everyone and I'm sorry this year has been difficult.
It does sound like you have an opportunity to learn how to cook some basic, healthy, high-protein meals for yourself and your father. I'd recommend teaching yourself by cooking lunches for yourself until you perfect the recipes. I've tried to create a list of very basic suggestions.
Your father may feel self aware and guilty about what is happening and may discourage you from learning how to cook because he's worried your mother will believe YOU are looking after him, so perhaps handle this carefully. He may try to discourage you if he doesn't understand you simply want to better yourself. If it creates unwanted drama than consider teaching yourself to cook meals by cooking yourself lunches whenever you can.
Remember to leave the kitchen cleaner than you found it. Wash everything dish you used and also wash everything else and wipe down the sink, counter and taps when you're done.
Here are my random thoughts on learning to cook some healthy, cheap, quick, easy meals:
Learn how to make instant gravy: Thoroughly combine gravy powder and water in a mug. Microwave it for 20 seconds and then stir it to prevent the powder forming a lump in the bottom of the cup. Repeat a few more times until it's thick. Let it bubble up and get super hot on the last final heating so you know it's completely cooked / completely thickened. Add some cold water if it's too thick and heat it again until it's how you like it, but keep it runny so it's not salty and overpowering.
Do you like instant mashed potato? Some people don't like it but I love it, especially with white pepper mixed in. If you haven't tried it then I recommend you give it a go because all you need is to combine white pepper, the potato powder and boiling water and let it sit for ten minutes. Reheat in the microwave and serve. Delicious with instant gravy and nice with sweet corn kernels mixed in.
Roast carrot is easier than blanching or steaming it and far more delicious. Just peel some carrots. Halve or quarter them into very thick, long fingers. Place on spray-oiled alfoil covered oven tray. Lightly spray with oil and cook in 400F / 200C preheated oven for 20 minutes. They'll shrink slightly and become sweet as they roast. Delicious and easy if you're already cooking something in the oven.
Frozen chicken schnitzels, frozen pot pies and frozen sausage rolls are cheap and easy and relatively healthy. Just put them in a preheated oven for as long as the packaging cooking instructions say. It couldn't be easier.
Frozen peas or corn: combine water in a microwave jug or coffee mug and microwave until bubbling. Leave in the water until just before serving so they stay hot. Strain and serve.
Here's three examples of healthy, cheap, quick and easy meals using the above skills:
Chicken schnitzel with mashed potato, roast carrot, peas and gravy: the whole meal will take you about five minutes to prepare and couldn't be simpler. Thaw the frozen peas and make the instant mashed potato and gravy while waiting for the schnitzel and carrots to roast.
Individual beef pot pie and oven fries served with roast carrot, blanched broccolini and gravy: Put the frozen pie, oven fries and carrot sticks in the oven and you're basically done. Boil a pot of water to blanch the broccolini for 60 seconds and make some gravy before serving. Less than 5 minutes of effort.
Sausage roll with cheesy cauliflower, roast potatoes, blanched carrot, peas and gravy: You can buy delicious frozen roast potatoes (flavored with garlic and rosemary) and frozen cheesy cauliflower that just needs to be microwaved. Cook the frozen sausage rolls with the frozen roast potatoes (or oven fries) in the oven. Microwave the cheesy cauliflower and boil a pot of water and blanch the carrot sticks and peas for three minutes. Make some gravy and serve.
The reason I gave three examples was to show how many different meal variations you can easily make with a few skills and very little effort. There are so many delicious and healthy frozen pies, schnitzels, chicken kiev, frozen crumbed tenders, pastizzis, sausages, etc. Frozen scalloped (cheesy) potatoes are also delicious. I also make stuffing balls from a grocery store mix, bake and freeze them... and thaw them and warm them in the oven when I want a nice side for a gravy meal.
Chili con carne on rice with grated cheese and English cucumbers: I can give you a quick chili con carne recipe, but you can buy very nice and cheap canned chili con carne from the grocery store. Then all you'll need to do is make some rice or use the 90 second instant microwave rice and microwave the chili. Add some grated cheese and some English cucumber slices for some fresh green color and a cool taste to contrast the hot chili. I prefer the long, green English cucumber because the skin is healthy and delicious and it doesn't need to have the seeds removed because they're so soft and nice too. Chili con carne is very healthy, the beans are extremely healthy and contain protein.
Making perfect stove-top rice is easy, but needs a little experimentation based on the size of the pot you're using and what type of lid it has. Combine dry rice and 1.8 times the rice's weight in COLD water in a pot with a glass lid. Using cold water will stop the rice being sticky. No need to wash the rice first. Cover and bring to a boil then reduce to the lowest heat for 16 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow the rice to sit for at least ten minutes to finish absorbing the water and cooking without taking the lid off or mixing it. Doing it this way will prevent any rice from sticking or burning to the bottom of your pot. You'll need to break the rice up with a fork before serving, but it'll come out perfect.
If I know I'm making a dinner with rice, I'll make the rice as soon as I get home from work and just reheat it briefly in the microwave before serving. My stove-top has a timer so I can set it to cook for 16 minutes and then turn itself off... which means I get perfect rice with about 20 seconds of effort.
Or just use the 90 second microwave rice from the grocery store. That's not quite as nice, but it's still cheap and couldn't be easier.
Omelette with baked beans and buttered bread: eggs and baked beans are great sources of protein. I heat the oil in the fry-pan until hot, then tip most of it down the sink so I use only enough to coat the pan. This keeps it healthy and prevents it being oily and unpleasant. Consider frying some sliced mushroom in the oil before adding the egg. Add some fresh parsley to the egg to make it look pretty. Put some white pepper in the egg and in the baked beans to make the meal even more delicious. Try it because it really makes a huge difference. Some grocery stores sell "lightly dried" parsley in little packets that have long expiry dates and also freeze well. I much prefer this to using dried parsley flakes when making omelette.
Chicken penne pasta and broccolini arrabbiata: arrabbiata is just a spicy tomato pasta sauce that most grocery stores sell. You might need to buy a few brands until you find one you like, but it'll be worth it. This meal relies on leftover cooked chicken or using a filled pasta that contains meat. I always keep some leftover cooked chicken in my freezer to thaw it for making this meal. You might want to buy some cooked chicken or cook some yourself if you don't have leftovers. Instructions for one serving: bring a pot of salted water to the boil, add 80g of penne pasta and boil until cooked. Throw in 80g of sliced broccolini to blanch for 30 seconds then drain immediately. Add the thawed chicken pieces and pasta sauce back into the now empty pot and heat until bubbling. Combine with the pasta and broccolini and throw in some grated tasty cheese or parmesan. Cheap and easy with LOTS of vegetables and protein from the chicken. Takes about 30 seconds of preparation because that's how long it takes to slice up some broccolini. The broccolini does a good job of filling you up rather than having a large meal of mostly pasta carbs. It doesn't need any more carbs, but if you're preparing it for someone else then consider cooking some garlic bread in the oven to go with the meal.
This meal also works well with gnocchi (potato dumplings that take only a couple of minutes to cook in UNSALTED boiling water) and a range of "fresh" filled pasta like beef ravioli or ricotta and spinach agnolotti rather than using leftover chicken.
Chinese Beef and Broccoli on Rice: you'll need beef stir-fry strips from your grocery store, some fresh broccoli and a bottle of nice stir-fry sauce. You'll need to buy a few to see which ones you like, or you could make your own with a few ingredients, but I think it'll be better for you to experiment with that later. Chinese beef and broccoli traditionally uses a flavored soy sauce, but any variation will be fine. Black bean is good or just a generic dark colored "stir-fry" sauce will almost certainly be good too. Fry the beef and then throw in the sliced broccoli for a few minutes and then dump in some sauce. That's it. It would probably be nice with any meat or even sliced up sausages. Use the stove-top rice recipe from earlier or microwave a packet of 90 second instant rice. Keep the serving of rice small and make the meal more about the protein and vegetables and the tasty sauce.
If you do start teaching yourself to cook, write down every recipe on your computer and create numbered versions as you experiment and make adjustments because that's how you perfect them. If you haven't cooked something in a few months, you'll never remember the important details like seasoning measurements.
Let me know if you have any questions or want some more recipe ideas. I tried very hard not to include anything complicated or expensive.
Thanks for these recipes. I enjoy that these are all simple and things that I am capable of making. Having Italian heritage, the Penne Pasta sounds right up my alley. I will definitely try all of these soon!
Keep in mind it's different cooking for just yourself when your focused on just health, rather than other people who have different priorities.
For example, when I was younger I used to live in an apartment 40 minutes walk from the city where I worked. Most evenings I'd walk home past a fish and chip shop and buy two large potato fritters / potato cakes with chicken salt. Five minutes later I was home and I'd blanch some broccoli for 60 seconds while microwaving an entire can of baked beans (with white pepper mixed in).
That was my dinner about three nights a week. It's a healthy and delicious meal with about the same protein as a steamed chicken thigh... and I always looked forward to it. Pure soup spoon comfort food.
It was perfect for me, but not suitable for most fussy girlfriends or dinner guests.
If you're cooking just for yourself, don't forget to keep it simple if you want to. Some oven fries, baked beans and roast carrot or broccoli is perfect when you're not trying to impress others. So is a simple frozen pasty with ketchup and baked beans on the side.
If you love Italian meals, I'd recommend you learn how to make pasta e fagioli / pasta fazool. It's essentially a vegetarian, one-pot, tomato pasta stew that contains mainly cannellini bean (white beans) and pasta shells with some baby spinach or broccolini and Parmesan cheese thrown in at the end. 'Literally takes 60 seconds to prepare, is rich, cheesy, spicy, thick, famous Italian comfort food with the freshness of green vegetables that's flavored with chicken stock, oregano, garlic and onion powder and seasoning... and has the protein of a chicken thigh because of the beans and the cheese with almost no washing up. Another soup spoon comfort food recipe. PM me if you want my recipe.
God bless you and your family.
Let's talk.
Do you workout or play sports?
What is a typical day's diet like now?
What do you THINK is healthy to eat and what is not healthy to eat? I am asking only to understand what you currently think (I will be happy to set you straight if you are wrong -- kek)?
Also, what are your physical goals?
Do you take any meds?
Any supplements?
Sure!
I don't currently play any sports, mainly because I suck, and everyone else my age doesn't. I get my physical activity through things like running, motocross and boating in the summer, and soon weightlifting. Also lots of activity from outdoor labor with my dad. We live in the country, so there are lots of tasks like carrying firewood, various construction projects, etc. Good old "dirt under the fingernails" type stuff.
Typical diet on a weekday is as follows:
I would say meat is extremely healthy and helps with masculinity. Probably why Biden wants only us to eat 1 burger a month. Fruits and veggies, in moderation, are healthy too, I presume. I know as a definite that soy, sugars and some nuts for example, are not good for you.
No meds. I take vitamin D now that winter is here, also Vitamin C and Zinc. I struggle with consistency but its probably better than not taking them at all.
OK, let's get to it.
First off, congratulations. The fact that you are even here on GAW means you already know more about the truth of the world than I did at 15. You already know more than most adults. You are on the right track. Always seek truth.
You probably already know that most of what you read and hear in school and the media is bullshit. When it comes to health issues, the advice given in the "mainstream" is usually the opposite of the truth. Always seek truth, no matter where it leads.
Many people here have weighed in with their ideas. I agree with some and disagree with most. I'll give you my take. The quesion is: How do you know which way to go? Maybe try one idea that sounds good for a couple of weeks, then try something else, etc. until you find something that really seems to work and feels right. Just a suggestion (although, I'm obviously sure that my ideas will be right up your alley).
So, you are 15. You are still in the automatic growth stage. So, you will grow over the next few years, no matter what. But you want to accelerate that and be "top dude" in school. I get it. The main thing is do you control what you can eat and what type of workouts you can do, or do your parents control that because they pay for everything? You don't have to answer that, just to yourself. Something that needs to be factored in.
The fact that you are skinny and a hard gainer means you can get away with some stupid shit that the fat boys can't. You CAN eat pizza and ice cream all day, but SHOULD you?
More important than gaining muscle is being healthy. So, health is #1, and building your physique is #2. You probably already know that the Covid thing is a scam, and you don't need vaccines or face masks. Health is #1. Always remember that.
The reason you have dandruff is likely a combination of (a) not eating enough saturated fat, and (b) using harsh shampoos/conditioners. It's an issue of dry, flaky skin. It just happens to be on your head instead of somewhere else, but it's the same issue. You probably don't need shampoo or conditioner at all. Your hair has natural oils. Those harsh chemicals strip away the natural oils. You likely don't need them, and would be better off without. Try going without for a couple of weeks and see what happens. I haven't used shampoo or conditioner for probably 10 years, and I have very nice hair (get compliments all the time). Looks good, feels soft, no problems at all. I'll get to diet and nutrition in a minute.
The reason you have sleep issues is your diet. You likely have malnutrition. Everything you listed that you eat is bad. But you already know that.
One thing you did not mention that most 15-year olds deal with is acne. If you have acne, it is because of your diet. A poor diet creates toxins in the body, and the body is trying to eliminate them through the skin. Clean up your diet, and the acne disappears.
So, you have a decision to make: Do you want to be "just average," or do you want to be above the crowd? Do you want girls to want to be with you, and guys asking you how you look so studly? If you want to be special, you have to do what it takes, and that means leaving bad habits behind. Drop the junk food, and do things the right way. After awhile, you won't even want the junk food, anyway. Remember: Health is #1.
You don't need any supplements. None. They are almost all junk. Get your nutrients in real food. Most meds are also bad, with just a few exceptions for unique medical situations. Stay away as much as possible. Workout regularly and eat right, and it will likely never be an issue for you.
Testosterone is a hormone. All hormones are made from cholesterol. Cholesterol is good (not bad). Cholesterol is made from saturated fat, not from any other fats. You eat a good amount of saturated fat, workout regularly, and your testosterone will be fine.
Saturated fat is good for us, not bad. Forget the bullshit narratives about heart problems. NONE of that has ever been proven, and never will be. There are ZERO studies showing any causation between saturated fat and heart problems. It is ALL propaganda.
Your body is made of cells (and bacteria -- all of which is helpful to you, not harmful). The cells turn over regularly. Every 8 months, you have all new cells.
Cells are made from amino acids and fatty acids. They are NOT made from sugars or carbohydrates. Amino acids come from protein, and fatty acids come from saturated fat. Your body will not process protein if there is no saturated fat with it. That's why animal foods are the ideal foods for humans. They are ALL protein and fat (milk also has some carbs).
Vitamins and minerals help the processes of the body work, but the building blocks are aminos acids (protein) and fatty acids (saturated fat).
To build your body, you need 3 things --
Sleep. Quality sleep. No TV or music (except if you are having sex, then turn off the music afterwards). Sleep in quiet or if there is noise outside, find something for "white noise" like a fan. Do not eat or drink anything within the last 2 hours of going to sleep. That will help.
Nutrition. Focus your diet on animal foods, with little to no plant foods. Bill Gates wants you to eat fake meat and a "plant-based diet." Do you think he wants you to be healthy? Plants do NOT build the body. They don't even provide any real vitamins or minerals. All the micronutrients you need come from animal foods.
Workouts. Decide if you can and want to lift weights. If yes, you need a bench, rack (for bench press and squat rack for squats), plus a dumbbell set. Ideally, also a way to do pulley exercises (seated pulley rows, etc.). If you have access to a gym, great. If not, you have to build your own -- and that is why I mentioned the idea of your parents paying for it or you do. If weight training won't work, then do pushups and situps. It will take longer, but it works, too.
Nutrition is 80%. Fuck that up, and it will be an uphill battle. Workouts are 10% and sleep is 10%. Get your sleep! Eat right and workout, sleep with quiet surroundings, and you should sleep well.
You want to workout without weights? Do what Herschel Walker did. He was a fat kid who was bad at sports. He started doing massive amounts of pushups and situps, and running. He worked up to doing 1,000+ pushups and 1,000+ situps per day. By the time he was in high school, he was the star football player. He was recruited to Georgia as the star running back, and won the national championship. He won the Heisman Trophy as a junior. Went to the USFL and then NFL. One of the greatest running backs in history. At the age of 50, he became a professional MMA fighter and won both fights he fought. He still does massive pushups and situps. Never lifted weights. He's still in phenominal shape. That's one way to do it.
But weights can do more, and faster, IMO. Most people do not think it is possible to gain large amounts of muscle quickly. But in 1973, Casey Viator was the subject of an experiment to prove the world wrong. In 28 days of lifting, he gained 63 pounds of muscle. A lot of people don't believe it, but I do.
His lifting routine was full body, every other day. Short workouts. Only 1 set per exercise. IMO, this is the BEST way to lift. The body responds quickly when you do full body workouts, frequently. (The key: Do the movements SLOWLY -- this is what makes the muscles WORK.) Forget the split routines. The guys doing massive drugs can make that work, but natural guys are better off doing full body.
This has to do with how muscle grows, but that gets complex. Here is an article by someone who knew him, and has used similar concepts to train other guys:
https://www.t-nation.com/workouts/the-colorado-experiment-fact-or-fiction/
Here is Casey in his later years, training someone on how to do it (so you can see how it should be done):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGcVb3wBL_Q
He died a few years ago, so that is the best we have.
Personally, I take a different approach, but with similar concepts. I do full body workouts MON-FRI, and take SAT-SUN off. Each workout is 10 exercises, full body. Always start with squats, so you don't puss out and not do them when you are gassed at the end of your workout. Leave the arm work until the end.
These workouts are only about 20 minutes. In and out. You feel fantastic -- especially if you eat foods that allow you to recover quickly.
What to eat.
Meat. Eggs. Milk.
THOSE are the most anabolic (muscle-building) foods on planet Earth. Add to that beef liver. The bodybuilders from the "Golden Era" (Arnold and the boys) ate these foods, primarily.
Milk -- Do you have access to RAW milk? If so, great! It will make you GROW. But if you do not, then pasteurized milk is questionable. The pasteurization process destroys most of the important nutrients. Probably best to not use it. But if you can get it raw (the way it comes from the cow), then definitely use it to grow muscle.
Eggs -- Be a man and eat them raw. You can also put them raw into shakes (with raw milk). Eggs are one of the best foods for building your body. Especially raw. You can also cook some up when you feel like it, but eat some raw. Eggs are the richest source of Leucine of any food, an important amino acid. Leucine triggers the mTOR pathway, which is the pathway that turns on Muscle Protein Synthesis. Eggs also have a high amount of Lysine, which is good for your skin. All animal foods have all the essential amino acids for humans, but eggs just have more and/or better quality that most other foods. Lifting weights and eating raw eggs will make you grow muscles. Period.
Meat -- Beef is best, but all meats are good. Pork, chicken, fish, seafood, whatever. Just be sure to get that red meat (beef) in. It is the best. Cook the meat as little as possible. Rare is better than medium, which is better than well done. Well done is terrible. If there are any negatives from eating meat, it is because the meat was cooked way too much. Rare, at most. I usually eat bleu, which is seared on the outside and raw on the inside. Tastes great!
Beef Liver -- You want to kick it up a notch? Have an ounce or so of RAW beef liver every day. THAT is your multivitamin/multimineral. Best source of Vitamin A on the planet. Best source of Iron on the planet. Best single food you can eat.
Focus on these foods, first and foremost. If you want to eat a brownie, eat it ONLY AFTER you had your main meal. After awhile, working out regularly and eating like this, you actually will not even WANT to eat junk food. It will be unappetizing.
Here is a random YouTube guy that ate 3 dozen eggs a day. You don't have to do that many, but see the incredible results:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq-sAoRLWVs
Someone like you should eat 3 times per day (not more). Between meals, eat nothing; just fast. If you want to drink some water, drink pure water.
We should be getting our water from our food, not just from drinking a lot of water. Our body's water comes mainly from inside our body. The body's process of breaking down nutrients and creating energy has water as a byproduct. That's why we are 70% water. Not because we drink it all day, but because it automatically comes from inside. Just stay away from that shit that comes out of the kitchen faucet.
If anyone tries to tell you to "eat your veggies," watch this first:

Get a tan in the Summer. Get jacked. Look great. Feel amazing. Pick the girl you want, and have the balls to tell her. You will be in the top 5%, maybe the top 1%. Don't give a fuck what anybody else thinks about it.
Seek truth.
Be a good man.
Enjoy life!
This is the answer. Just read, will be watching the videos shortly. I live my life by these principles. Game changer.
This was an awesome post. So many of you on here just pour out your knowledge in a post and I am both impressed and grateful. Anyway, I definitely plan on eating a substantial amount of meat and doing weight training, hopefully at home.
I've actually been around since r/TheDonald!
Actually, my acne isn't that bad. It was massively worse a few years back, but it seems to have gotten much tamer as I get older. Not sure if its diet related, but anyway, I'm happy.
I do however have noticeable bags under my eyes and the ridge across my nose is quite red. People often say I look tired/depressed/sick. Likely due to diet and sleep regimen.
Overall I definitely plan on putting much of what you said into action. Again, thanks!
Feels like I’m writing this. Especially on the takeout in the afternoons
Get away from corporate soap. I'm an old 'pede but when a friend introduced me to real soap I noticed a difference in just a few days....
The Soap Guy
It's seriously a life change, your skin, which is the biggest organ of a human, will thank you.
Good luck!
Try to eat unprocessed, real foods. Buy raw vegetables and eat them raw or cook them yourself. Avoid wheat flour and cane sugar. Meat is good for you. The standard serving size is 1/4 pound. Practice portion control. Put some food on your plate and get up when that is finished. Avoid processed foods and foods from most restaurants. Some are okay, especially if you're just getting a steak and potato.
Exercise often. Walking is good. Yardwork is good. If you want bigger muscles, exercise them more.
Sunshine is good for you in moderation. If you can't get enough, then you need Vitamin D. I get large doses that I only have to remember to take once a week.
Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and meats should supply you with plenty of vitamins.
Your description of yourself reminds me of Jack LaLanne, who in his teenage years was in a similar condition. He ended up becoming a fitness guru, very much ahead of his time. He’s written some books on nutrition and exercise which you can easily find in a library. I highly recommend them. It’s a place to start anyway.
Everyone’s nutritional needs are different. Use common sense - eliminate junk food, and eat as natural as possible by avoiding preservatives, additives, etc. If you clean up your diet, you just might find that you sleep better, and the skin problems will automatically improve. Guys need their “beauty sleep”, too!
You’re young and still growing, so don’t be overly concerned about your slim physique. Concentrate on becoming healthy rather than getting bulky.
Why are so many teenagers slim now? Is this a recent thing or have most young people always been thin until they develop?
It is very common for a young man who is slim to fill out later. I’ve been around a few decades; it’s nothing new.
Home made chocolate chip cookies with unenriched flour is the bees knees👍🏻😘
Of course Im pregnant so idk if my advice is pertinent
Avoid seed oils. This unfortunately eliminates 95% of food in the grocery store.
Best advice ever👆🏻
I will mention something I haven’t seen here yet...
As someone twice your age, be moderate with alcohol. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen be studs at 18, but by 25 they have wasted their physique with excessive alcohol.
It will be ‘cool’ to drink from 18-21 but if you can be disciplined it will be paid back bigly
Alcohol is VERY estrogenic, especially beer and whiskey.
Dr. Ken Berry on youtube, also on Odysee, will change your life.
The human brain isn’t fully developed until the age 25, your body is no different just give yourself 10 years with the thought of being healthy at the forefront of your life and it will manifest. But mainly your concerns should be Metabolism, Blood sugar and eating schedules(everyone’s life has different demands, eat/fast accordingly). As for testosterone you shouldn’t have a low amount unless there is something wrong with your genes, that being said you may want to look into DIM supplements(something you get from eating green veggies) it suppresses estrogens picked up from poor diet and helps to regulate your hormones. Now this is not Advice from a medical professional just someone that’s been in that spot before. I will say one thing though, Mental Strength is more relevant than Physical Strength in many aspects of our daily lives and each should be balanced as such to make the greatest impact on your life in the present.
Avoid processed foods. These do not give life but take it. It takes awhile to retrain our tastebuds away from the overstimulation artificial flavors provide. Organic whole foods give life. Variety is very important. Vegetables build our bodies. Fruits cleanse. Fulfill sugar cravings with sweet ripe fresh fruits. The longer you stay away from junk food and other processed foods the more you will crave natural foods. Your body will begin to thrive on the nutritional boost you get from natural foods and you will not only lose your cravings for junk it will even eventually taste gross to you. Nuts and avocados are good sources of fats. Use organic butter rather than artificial margarines. I hope you have a successful journey to a long and healthy life.

That's all you need bro.
Vitamin A retinyl palmitate can help with dandruff, but you should keep your other fat soluble vitamins (D3, K2 & E) in balance.
Cut out most food made in factories. Eat more protein and lift heavy stuff.
Turn off electronic devices at night or wear blue blockers if you’re gonna stare at a screen.
Obviously you’re aware that chemical on your skin in and in your mouth are bad for you, so find healthy alternatives. You can use the Environmental Working Group website and toxinless.com for good alternatives.
Hey man, I wish I was 15 again! if I could give my 15 year old self advice, off the top of my head:
No white carbs; Avoid potatoes, pasta, rice, sugar (all processed sugar) No milk products. No cereals No takeaways
Vegetables at every meal. Fat is not bad for you, eggs bacon etc will not hurt.
Books I wish I had read at 15:
Superhero Nutrition by Steve Zim
The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi (start with the first book)
The Game by Neil Strauss
The last two books, (assuming you are heterosexual) If you understand them can turn you into an absolute monster with women if you let them. Personally I think they are the best books on inter-sex relations and they work. Just don’t let them turn you into a dick. As the saying goes ‘“with great power comes great responsibility”
For other women and business/career/ Fitness related advice, check out interviews with Rollo Tomassi, Stirling Cooper, J Waller, Rich Cooper (they all have there own channels also)
Thanks for these recommendations. Definitely need something to read right now.
Eat less, move more......in the sun.
First off size isn't what makes you a man. I myself was only 150 until I hit my mid thirties. Now that I am in mid to late 40s I find myself at a very muscular 200 lbs and much healthier than 90% of the guys my age. Still able to do more pullups than guys have my age and 3 quarters my weight.
This goes for a lot of guys I knew who were thin growing up. No amount of weight gainer or peanut butter could get you mass but a 6 pack was easy.
It's a blessing. You'll see.
A lot of great ideas here already. I'll try not to pile on but weight lifting is key to being manly. There's no way around it and there are no shortcuts, but I can't begin to describe how rewarding it is.
I might add since I haven't seen it yet, self-sacrifice will do you wonders. I think of it this way: do not seek "no hunger". Seek "know hunger ".
My advice would be this:
Start weight lifting and never skip leg day since you want to gain. I used to be skinny but I ran cross country and never tried to lift weights until roommates in college got me into it and now I can gain muscle mass quickly
Simple is always best when trying to diet (I don't currently diet just to be transparent). Many weightlifters eat the same thing every day because it is easier to be disciplined and takes less work. Eat lots or protein and that will fill you up pretty quickly and something like fruits or salad will also help supplement. There are simple formulas that will show how much you should eat for the weight you are trying to be
Don't strive for perfection immediately. Ultimately it is all about building habit which is why most people fail when they try to suddenly cut out everything they enjoy. Some highly disciplined people can pull it off but typically moderation or slowly cutting back certain things is easier.
Cut back on high sugar stuff like soda and look up what supplements you want based on what you need. You may need to research a little to make sure it is a reputable company because the supplement industry is really sketchy sometimes but some kind of multivitamin would probably help along with things like vitamin D in the winter when we get less sun.
Look, I will sound nuts to you but you should straight away go full carnivore and cut out the sugar and carbs.
It seems extreme but it isn't. You system will fully adapt and will be better for it.
Here's the logic, your digestive human system is designed for squeezing as much nutrition from the food you eat as quickly and as efficiently as possible, this makes sense, just think back to caveman days where food was hard to catch and was scant, so for survival, you body had to be efficient for energy and nutrition.
Now meat, especially beef and lamb is so dense in nutrition it's the most dense of all edible foodstuff, this is a fact.
Now, your problem is also snacking, right? And that's the secret with this diet, you eat as much meat as you can so you're full, that way you don't snack, you have no need to and don't want to. Some carnivores split their meat eating into two to three sessions during the day but most of the time I have one huge one so I don't have to.worry about lunch and dinner and breakfast.
I did it not because of weight, I'm tall and lean but because mentally it's just amazing, I have so much constant energy so I don't have mood swings. I can work 14 hours non stop and feel fine.
I did this for 1 year and now I'm limit myself with some carbs and daily is 50g. But going fully in carnivore you develop an easy routine, all you do is get steak, fry 3 mins each side and done, you eat.
Ah, yes, you have good energy for sex, linked probably to more testostorone being made.
Edit, sorry so much to say, you think eating just meat is unhealthy to the body but I've done bloodwork and there's no problems, even my doc was amazed.
Strength and cardio Eat more meat and whole foods
You seem to know answers to your questions already. Recognize patterns and deficiencies in a contradictory way. This appears indicative to ones self personal knowledge and recognition that contradicts with choices and decisions. Based on the focus of, hey everyone what should i change, I would suggest an alternative perspective. Much of what you have asked and stated is literal physical focus concentric. If you are actually 15, being the masculine MAN that appears to be the proposition here. These areas will come in line as irrelevant, personal health is important absolutely, however what will or should truly drive to be more will fall into categories of self introspect. I would suggest defining one self first. Goals, short and long term, categories of goals, not just physical deficiencies recognized. What and who I want to be and become within your mind and persona. Unless you have found through experience what you are comfortable as being, being intune with your body through personification is trivial. A focus within to define a longer term desire(s) with the road map of short term road mapping is the key. The rest will fall into place as you follow your own map and will be easy to see what is lacking in order to get where you have defined for yourself to be. This may sound philosophical but if one chooses to delve into the essence of what the underlying importance is out of these simple things everything will become clear. Know your self fully, find that place and it becomes very natural to bend the will of your surroundings to your expectations.
Thanks so much for the detailed response!
I wrote down almost everything you need in life in an earlier post. Specifically for the dandruff, stop using shampoo - period. Use Apple Cider Vinegar. It's wonderous as long as you keep short hair. Use it like you would shampoo except don't rinse immediately. Put a couple table spoons in your water saturated hair and scrub it in real good. Let it sit while you do the rest of your shower. Your dandruff may get worse at first, but this is a "healing crisis". Stay at it and in two months your hair will be awesome.
Make sure you are mostly eating whole foods and learn to cook.
This site has great recipes https://www.budgetbytes.com
I would also highly recommend that you use the same criteria for your hygiene and cosmetic products too. I’m super sensitive to the BS in the “safe for everyone” products you can find at most stores, and once I started using natural soaps and such I noticed a massive difference.
Keto/paleo
Raw foods
Intermittent fasting
Supplements: triglyceride form DHA/EPA, high absorption vitamin D3, liposomal form vitamin C.
At least you’re a self aware 15 year old. Aren’t many of those around these days. Best of luck. Chop wood, get a punching bag, speak from the diaphragm, and walk with purpose.
This is very simple. Animal based diet. Research dr Paul Saladino. Your diet should consist of meat (approx 2lbs per day) a few eggs per Day, and add in fruit and honey in addition to the meat. Meat should be grass finished beef, and you should eat beef liver at least once a week. You can also add in wild caught salmon. Bone broth is also super healthy and should be consumed. I have been eating this way for a year. Changes everything. You will grow muscle just from eating that much quality protein. I used to take tons of supplements with my workouts, but when you eat enough meat you get everything without needing supplements. If you are going to cancel anything from your diet it should be sugar. Sugar is poison. Next to stop eating all together is bread. Get sugar and flour out of your diet and your health will improve markedly. I hope this helps pede. I've been working out and trying different diets and supplements for over 20 years. I feel confident in saying this is how we should eat. My typical day eating is: morning meal is 1lb Ground beef, 5 eggs, few pieces of bacon. Then I eat dinner. Usually a steak. This is all you need to thrive.
Don't eat anything you can't pronounce. Make sure you're water is as pure as you can get it.
just to add onto this, it's apparently not hard to distill water yourself if you need to. it might be worth looking into if you're worried about your water being contaminated with god knows what kinds of chemicals.
Well Water gang...
If you want to gain weight, eat lots of clean carbohydrates (pasta and rice and whole grains) along with plenty of healthy fats and protein while avoiding sugary and highly processed foods as much as possible. Eating lots of small high carb meals throughout the day will also help with weight gain as it will spike your insulin.
If you want to lose weight (doesn't sound like a concern now as you're still growing), limit your carbohydrates and also your feeding window (skip breakfast and only eat between noon to 8PM AKA Intermittent fasting).
As far as health and hygiene issues, get a water pick (dental irrigator that shoots water between your teeth and clears your gums of debris) if you have the means and use it daily, along with brushing and flossing. Brush your tongue as well. You're going to get some acne just because of your age, but if you stay away from garbage food and only eat meat, fruits, and veggies (and pasta and rice if trying to gain weight), you will have less of an issue.
Highly recommend this guy for getting into the gym! Here’s his website he has a ton of videos on YouTube!
https://youtube.com/c/athleanx
Good luck and don’t give up!
Cut all processed foods and anything with artificial flavors, artificial colors, and artificial ingredients. A good rule or thumb is if there are a ton of ingredients then chances are it's unhealthy.
Greatly reduce or cut out sugar intake, literally every packaged item has sugar added. A good alternative is stevia if you have a sweet tooth.
Learn to cook, you'll have much more control what goes in your body. It's easy to learn basic staple recipes such as plain rice, beans, eggs, etc.
Drink lots and lots of water, it's good for your body.
Stick to animal fats and olive oil for cooking.
Exercise regularly. Not everyday unless you're a professional athlete, just keep a body strong.
You wrote that you're skinny, increase your protein intake. Eggs, chicken, beef, some legumes have high protein, eat more often, smaller meals but 6+ times a day.
Good balance of fruits and veggies.
Most importantly, enjoy the ride because these habits are for the rest of your life.
