They're trying to humiliate and embarrass me with this horse shit. The manager keeps telling me to keep it on, I'm getting really angry with this bullshit. I'm in California BTW.

If you're at that stage, stop wearing it and dare them to fire you.
This is correct. Don't quit. Make them fire you. Don't take severance if offered. Reserve the right to sue.
Burn the mask in a ritual.
After last night's State of the Union by Biden, it should be clear that the recommendation is for employers to end mask mandates. I'd just email the top bosses and cc the chain of command a short outline of the new guidelines. Don't get mad. Don't quit. Make them fire you. Tell them you are following the new CDC guidelines.
The shit just got worse here after that where I work. Nobody gave a shit if I wore the mask below my nose or completely off, now that they can push their superiority around the boss and manager are on my ass. Ridiculous fucking shit.
I'm working at a hospital doing construction work where I'm working inside and walking around the hospital, everyone must wear a mask but most everyone wears it below the nose sometimes not at all and nobody says anything much. When I had orientation they said if we were unvaccinated we had to wear the N-95 dust mask and the vaccinated gets to wear a regular mask and if we weren't Vaccd we did not have to disclose it and I said okay well I'm not wearing an N-95 because it will label me as being unvaccinated which is telling without them asking and I'm refusing to tell anyone my status I'm not wearing N-95 and so I walked out with a regular mask, they couldn't say shit about that one 😂
if they force an n95 on me im gone. I can always breathe fresh air through the sides of the stupid surgeon mask. I will literally tell them to fuck themselves, verbally, if they force an N95. Bet on it.
Just stop wearing it and if they keep hassling you tell them to call your lawyer and explain why they are singling you out.
Dont wear it. There is zero law that allows for it. If they fire you, make sure you have in writing on why. If they do not allow gou to work, get in writing why. If they try to stop you from working, get in writing why.
When they give you that writing, call an attorney.
100% this is good advice. And there will be plenty of lawyers ready to take this case
What if they won't write it?
At that point its a sticky legal matter. Which I cannot advise on.
If it were me, and its not. I would make it an official matter. So there is record outside of their word or mine.
That sounds like an awful situation. If I were in your position, I just wouldn't wear one. At my place of work, they tried to instill the mask stuff again and I just refused to wear one. There were a couple of Karens who complained or told me to wear one, but nothing happened. Actually, others followed suit and the whole debacle lasted maybe a week.
Best of luck with whatever you choose to do. I am in a conservative state though, so your results may differ.
God Bless
I wear mine on my chin mostly, when it's just me and a machine, I take it off. Hey, lots of places are looking for workers, look around for a place with no mask requirements
Sow them Fauchi's paper that masks cause bacterial pneumonia, thats why those with Spanish flu died. After all, your manager should 'follow the science'.
the funny thing is the vaxed have damaged immune systems and are greater risk to spread all infections. If they 'followed the science" vaxed would have to be not just masked but segregated
Find a new job and quit with no notice. F them
Bad advice that is a negative on job history. If you did not give notice to previous employer you are deemed unreliable.
Consider doing a phone consult with an employment rights attny that focuses on mandates like Thomas Renz. Website has online form. Renz-law.com
DON'T QUIT! Make them fire you, and then seek legal counsel. They're in an indefensible position, especially as more information come out about the bullshit vax.
In the meantime, make them sign this doc, which makes them affirm, in writing, several positions that your lawyer can then use to absolutely slay them in court. Mwahahaha!!

You might want to wait until the class action lawsuits start tearing everything down. I'd sure want to quit, though.
All going to be over soon. See how you are doing in another month. If you like your job you may get to avoid looking forcm another one
Don't comply. Consult a lawyer before doing so then let me fire you and then sue them for decriminalization
OP, you can legally fight this and win. I did so with my company. And you don't need a lawyer. There is paperwork however to let your aggressors know that you are standing on your natural (God-given) rights, and the personal liability they will face should they trespass them ($100K per event, per person, per day!).
I served the first documents concerning masking in early September. By the final one, the day before Thanksgiving (this can be sped up considerably), it had morphed to include jabbing. I served the same paperwork on ten individuals from the CEO on down to my 2nd & 1st line managers. At first they were laughing at me, close to the end they went silent.
I successfully called their bluff without having to go to court (and sadly not being awarded any money). To this day, I am unvaxxed and have never worn a mask. My manager has even came to my office a few times to discuss project planning and review performance (I got a raise) with his mask on while I remain free.
I documented the whole story in a series of posts. Here is the last one with links to the rest.
Feel free to DM me if you want.
During the OSHA thing when Biden was coercing private companies to fire unvaccinated, I called a lawyer and asked what his thoughts were if I was fired for not giving them a copy of a vaccine card. He said: "You live in a heavily pro-vaccine area (he's right) the chances of you winning in court is very slim". He basically didn't want to take the case if I was fired, because he's right, this place is run with leftists. Luckily the supreme court shot down OSHA mandate and I remain at work.. but now they're on my balls about keeping my mask on. For awhile here no one said shit to me when I had the mask down under my nose or completely off.. but now the policy is "only vaccinated can go maskless indoors"... now I feel like a fucking Praia on Zoom calls as I'm one of the only few people wearing a mask.. my manager is on my dick constantly about keeping it on, hopefully they ease up and forget about it. I'm not too bummed about it, I wear these large fucking disposable surgeon masks, i get plenty of airflow from the sides... which is my only concern.
The mask is dehumanizing. Slaves world-wide have always been forced to mask we they got uppity (so masks are racist AF). Using a conditional acceptance and notices of estoppal and liability do not lead to a jury trial. If they actual lead to court, which they usually don't (most aggressors fold), they at worse lead to an ex parte hearing with just you and the judge, and a recorder if you insist (and you should).
You stand on your paperwork, which has no wiggle room, because it is constitutionally based. The aggressor can't accept it without giving the game away, so you win by their default.
After serving my managers I told them that whereas they may have pledged to uphold Siemens policy, I swore an oath at 17 to defend my country and its Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, therefore I would not comply with any policies that are contrary to either. They have since let me do whatever I want.
I'm still a pariah, but they are afraid of me. That's because they have the loss of huge sums floating in front of their eyes. And it is personal liability. Any money is going to come from them -- any court costs are going to come from them. My court costs consist of only filing papers, and strictly speaking, that should be free, but I'm not up to fighting that at this point.
Sorry, typo, Show them Fauchi's paper.....
Submit a religious exemption for the mask. "I am made in the image of God and it is an affront to that God to cover my face. I am not Muslim." Notify them that you are informing them you are exempt as granted by Title VII of the civil rights act. See Peggy Hall on youtube. Do not quit. Make them fire you. Then sue them. Also put in your exemption that any denail of your rights will be met with a legal challenge. You need only inform them that their policy is in conflict with your beliefs. Do not say anything about science or masks don't work, etc. Leave all of that out of it.
Think about it like this. Reverse the scenario. A person whose religious beliefs has them cover their face in public. They try to go into the grocery store and they inform them they cannot enter unless they remove their face covering. You don't think that is a legal issue for the grocery store?
I told my boss I would walk if I had to wear a mask when our mandate came into effect. I was left alone until the deadline for the vax mandate, at which point I was let go.
If you've had enough and you have every reason to quit I would make them fire you instead. Hire a lawyer and sue. Sorry you are going through this friend..
Their day will come.
Stay if you must or remove the mask and force them to fire you. File a lawsuit Pro Se, hassle them until they settle.
Get a mask that says "SLAVE" or "Let's Go Brandon" Get a lawyer and go after them for discrimination.
OR Just stop wearing it, if they ask you for vaccination information give them the number to your medical provider and tell them they can get it from your doctors office. They can't of course because that is HIPPA violation. Just walk in like you own the place.
Write “We are being lied to” on it.
Take it off and make them fire you, hold your head high patriot, you are not alone!!!
This shit is over, some people are to stupid or lazy to figure it out. Print off the CDC recommendations for them, then ask them if they know more......
Can you get a medical exception? How easy would it be to find another job for you? How easy would it be to get another job that doesn’t require you to wear a mask? Don’t quit, make them fire you for not wearing a mask. Then you can sue.
Yes. Your blood pressure is more important. But make them fire you.
