We're going to be dealing with this until there is a real Blockchain based decentralized solution. There's a few out there now, but they haven't really caught on. There's some big things on the horizon though.

I think the two that have the most potential for social networks are RVP (revolution Populi) and VVT (versoview) I'm currently heavily invested into vvt. Might get back into RVP once the actual product comes out this year.
I was watching Tim Pool's interviews with the executives of Minds, Gab, and Gettr. The guy from Gettr seemed a little off, maybe somebody here nose what I'm talking about.

I get you, and I have stopped listening to him as he's annoying, except that those were some of the best interviews I can find with executives of the new breed of social media. If you have other in depth interviews with these people I'd like to watch them. I'm developing a platform for patriots and I definitely want to learn from other platform developers.

I do expect TRUTH Social to be great. That I can tell you. But as it is associated with a political candidate, there are some topics they will seriously have to dial back on. You'll have to forgive them for that.

Most social media sites are designed to brand a certain message. GETTR is about a sanitized version of conservative messaging.
But I do agree a social media site that becomes too niche eventually will diminish the ability to project to a larger audience.
