Yep. I lived in MidEast 12 years. Saudis don’t have dogs as pets and the only dogs you’ll ever see are “desert dogs”. They’re big pawed & run in packs. Not in the cities tho. Cats aren’t pets but they roam the cities especially around dumpsters keeping rats down to zilch.
Which is odd, because I knew someone is Saudi with a Saluki - beautiful dogs.
They truly are. I saw many in Afghanistan mainly where they’re from.
