Any device owner can go to the settings to permit non-store app usage.
This is how it was in the old days, downloading programs from websites and installing then using them. So it's up to everyone to stop using it. and get apk's instead like the old day's exe's

Not because i am worried about being "verified" or being out of the loop, but i like living my life without it. It's simpler. If you don't know me personally and have the ability to judge me off of a simple comment, or worried about if i am a real person or not online, then what's the point of engaging? Wasted energy imo. The verification steps they take will never be foolproof, and its not like they take a psychological test either to prove you have good intentions with being on the platform. Plus most of the news that breaks on there is on here or other websites. I mean I am honestly not missing anything at all being on there, nor any social media site. It was fun when i was younger, but since i have passed all that, its kinda pointless. But if people want to enjoy it, i support their right to do that too. I'd seen that a couple days ago, when someone put out a post berating anyone who dared complain about the unjust censorship and/or ousters that were occuring over there. Apparently some people here think that when a fox finds it's way into the proverbial henhouse we're all supposed to shut up and not squawk about it, but let the fox devour whoever it wants to for as long as it wants to.
Whatever problem resolution system they'd set up wasn't sufficient (or the person(s) tasked with monitoring it weren't capable or willing to solve the problems). It could be that TS was flushing out some more swamp scum by giving them the reins for awhile and letting them hang themselves. It would be like having a corrupt or compromised moderator participating in monitoring a message board. Eventually the bad apples need to be removed or the good people will walk away.
I'm happy that someone over at TS worked to rectify the situation at least in Dr T's case. Thank you, again, for the update.
