These doctors hide behind the idea that it is "cosmetic" meanwhile they destroy all proper function of a male or female body to help these people "transition". What ends up happening is that 'transition" is a permanent state of major injury.
Imagine going into surgery and your doctor telling you that you will feel constant pain AFTER surgery and recovery is complete.

I almost felt compassion and pity after reading, though was retracted reading the last part blaming others for letting it happen. At some point, it is time to accept responsibility that they are/were all part of a massive assault on traditional American values.
Well, all surgery is major injury. I don't know why more people do not understand this.
I had a small fracture in my wrist and had to fight against my orthopedic surgeon (two different doctors!) who were only interested in surgery and putting a pin in the bone. I did not need the extra damage of that surgery to heal a small fracture.
It healed fine with a cast.
It's not like the 'thing' couldn't do the research on their own - or maybe figure stuff out before ASKING to be mutilated.

Right, I've been barking up this tree for years now. I suggest anyone looking to 'switch' talk to a licensed psychologist. Transgender suicides have been through the roof for a while now, and why? Simple ; these people get to a point where they realize their problem isn't what they thought their problem was.
But, now... you can't go back. What's the only other option?

A while back I read one person's account where their 'new vagina' was simply an oozing, bleeding wound that kept wanting to close up completely, rendering them unable to urinate, and with absolutely no possibility of sex in that bleeding opening either.
So through surgery they approximate the sex they want to look like, but can't have meaningful or pleasurable intimate relations and are stuck with a nasty wound that won't heal right and will never be like a real vagina.

Once the neo vagina is “built” they have to insert dilators to keep it open and help stretch it out to whatever size. If there is an unnatural hole in your body then your body will constantly try to repair / close it… hence the need for daily dilations.
Their new "vagina" isn't a stretchy, naturally moist mucosa structure, it's inverted skin from the penis. So it wants to shrivel up like any skin tag. Every day for about half an hour, a dildo-like thing has to be inserted to stretch this skin. But it will never stretch like a real vagina or be self lubricating. As I read this, I get the feeling that I am being blamed, yet again, for someone else's stupidity. Why is this he/she blaming everyone but itself for what happened? Sure Dr's should have warned this stuff may happen. But, ultimately, you are responsible for what YOU do. So, no sympathy from me. Dr's who didn't tell this fool what might happen, would be sued and labeled prejudice if they had warned of these issues. Live and learn. Don't mutilate yourself in the lesson. Besides, I'm sure someone in his life told him, "you'll regret this eventually". He didn't listen either way.
I am in the "too bad, so sad" category. I feel bad for what he is going through (he is indeed a he), however you made your bed. You can blame everyone else for what was done to you, but it's an elective surgery. he was informed I'm sure, but they made the bad stuff seem not so bad so they could do the surgery. They don't want to be the one blamed for talking someone out of the surgery du jour. That would leave them unable to practice "medicine", and probably get sued. So they minimize the outcomes. It was probably "only 20 minutes a day. You only have to do dilation for 20 minutes a day. Isn't that worth it to be a woman?" and the idiot nods and says "yes. That's worth it. I can do that." I'm sure the "doctors" informed them of everything, they just didn't want to listen. And no one wants to risk themselves by talking anyone out of transitioning. So poor tullip, I'm sure, will die an early death after torturing himself for maybe another year or so.
