There is no such thing as a "law of physics." Physics is nothing more than a set of mathematical models that have predictive power. Our models say nothing about how the universe actually works. They only speak to how well we can use what we have learned about it. The universe simply Is What It Is.
With respect to how these ships move, all that is required is a mastery of gravity, not "antigravity" per se. Even our models of physics suggest such a thing is possible. General Relativity fully supports such movement, it just requires something called "negative matter." Even that's only partially true however. It really only requires an ability to contract and expand space. We know how to contract it very well (both energy and mass contract space). We don't know so well how to expand it (thus the negative matter), but it is entirely conceivable to find another way to do so, including through electromagnetism.
