Interesting iPhone factoid...

A real tag doesn’t need the battery - the power is induced by the electric field of the other device.
I don’t know how it’s implemented in the iPhone but assuming it’s a real tag - the other phone may need to be close enough for the electric field to be strong enough for the tag to be able to send “I’m ABCDE..” so that the other phone will send it’s own location as your device’s location.
It’s more a collective iPhone spying. You guys like the word “collective”, do you? Fucking commies. It’s @ll under the disguise of a real feature and against the thieves, but then they don’t capture thieves, so what’s the purpose then, … the more you know.
I assume it's a super low power mode. I have some zigbee temp sensors that can broadcast data for over a year on a single button battery.
On the bright side, ballot mules will be turning their phones off not knowing.....
It serves 3 purposes.
It will always track. Even when the other person said if the battery is completely dead, it won't track. Not true! 0% battery, "dead," powered off, still has some battery for this feature. To actually drain the battery to true 0 is very hard without really trying.
It makes it harder to repair. Therfore more likely for you to buy the new one. Planned obsolescence.
This is how they sell it, they can make the phone slightly stronger/slimmer and slightly more structurally stable without an easily removable battery.
Gotta let batteries die completely
They can, it's just not feasible
You can put it in the microwave to prevent signals getting in and signals coming out
Not all microwaves apparently, I put my phone in a microwave and experimented by sending texts and calling from another phone. All went through in real time with no delay. It could be that I just have a cheap microwave that blasts me with microwave radiation every time I use it or microwaves are not Faraday cages after all
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot4_jVFXxUU This video should explain
Idk. I'll try do some more research and forward it to you
Precisely my thought as well
Here's how you beat this Orwellian shit.

Pattern of life. Control it.
Came here to post this, thank you friend
Even better would be to ditch Apple and phones with GAPPS (Google apps) completely. Get a de-googled phone running a custom ROM.
Not only are the phones sending out location data when powered off, the phones create a profile for the user to track your phone usage. This can be seen by needing to create an ID and/or sign-in with said ID before using the phone.
I believe the (Android) teracube2e is de-googled, for one.
I bet you all phones have this now. Airtags are a simple tech device
These things aren't that helpful if you actually want to use your phone. I would prefer to not have to "tuck in" my phone at night. every night.
How about standing up for ourselves? This piece of shit is what they want us using. Keep us submissive. Get loud. Buy a freedom phone.
You don't mean that Chinese stuff off that website with the giant flag on it, do you? I trust it like I trust Mitt Romney.
What is that? Where do you get them?
The link is already dead, you must have linked one to many of us for Amazon's comfort!
sorry fren. just search for Faraday bag
Great share!
"....and will never be abused ever."
Translation: NEVER EVER we say...nope not EVER.... well, ALMOST never... USUALLY never. But if another pandemic breaks out... or you do something we disapprove of, like attend a gun show or a Trump rally.... well then we would have to do something about that, now wouldn't we?
...but other than all those times we would, we absolutely never would.
In my country when they bought out the great coof track and trace that was useless and not that many people bothered with, Apple said hold my beer! The next auto update that most user leave on, and agree to without thought, had its own version and from there on in was highly trackable - and everyone hit the agree button!
In Australia, they were told their track and trace system would all be anonymous and absolutely never ever ever, ever not never be used by the police to track people.
3 weeks later the Police made arrests using the track and trace app and locations.
I had to go manually turn it off. I saw that too. It was auto enabled by the update
I fully suspect Android is the same way and this was the main driver to get rid of phones with replaceable batteries because pull the battery and ZERO power equals can't track it.
Holy Moley! My 20-year-old auto has GPS? I didn't know that!
If you really wanted to I think they have these boxes that block radio signals that you can put them into.
Is it accurate to within 10 feet? Asking for a friend...
Only for PokemonGo.
Lol closer!
In a SHTF scenario, if you're carrying any traceable device you're a fckin dumbass anyway. ALL that shit needs to be removed, placed in a Faraday cage, and left behind.
This means phones, watches (digital bluetooth types), ear buds (blue tooth), etc. Basically if it has a Blue tooth or Network function to it, dont have it on you. The same goes for vehicles: ALL new vehicles have multiple functions that track where it, and you in it, are at any given time.
If you want SHTF safe things, you're gonna have to go old-school: pre-computer controlled vehicles, wind up watches, etc. Even walkies (all types and makes) can be zeroed-in on unless you know how to set up remote temporary chain antennas to throw off triangulation attempts (this is how ISIS did it in the cities in Iraq).
This is why you can no longer remove batteries. Remember we use to be able to swap out batteries in our phones. Government and phone companies did not like this. Customers would keep phones longer and just buy new batteries. Privacy advocates could pop the batteries out of their phones when they wanted Privacy. Now the batteries are welded into the phones. ALL FOR YOUR BENEFIT. really, it just everyone has their own personal tracking device. Think of it this way, pull up a cattle auction. Look at all the cattle with giant yellow tags stapled onto their heads. THIS IS US, THIS IS YOU. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT CATTLE U.S.549157-11 AND YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A PRODUCT. this steer has slaved away 30+ years as a wage slave netting millions in tax revenues. Note he has paid more in taxes than he has ever earned in his lifetime. Their is only a few years of taxable revenue left in this unit.
On the positive side, if you got lost or kidnapped, they can find you if the phone gets turned off... or something
The trick to that is don't get lost or kidnapped in the first place!
I'd written posts about this possibility which drew little interest. Computers have a small battery that keeps a small amount of memory called ROM active so it can boot up. Not hard to put some battery capacity on the circuit board to keep GPS running.
Why do you think they phased put removable batteries on majority of phones in the first place?
There are a few still around, but enormous pressure to go with non removable battery with bullshit reasons.
Even phones with removable batteries have a tiny internal battery. To, you know, keep the clock set if you change the battery. And to make sure it corrodes irreversibly if you drop it into water.
Good point. I think that it would still be substantially less cell data/info that they can send with that small of battery (at least in older phones)?
Then again, they hide tech from the public so could keep us under the illusion that batteries that we do have need to be a certain size while not being true.
I mean, heck, they had those little solar powered calculators out ages ago. Surely those have improved. Could just embed those under the screen and keep the internal battery charged even when the main one loses power.
Just brainstorming..
This has been built into all phones for years. Its at the chip level. Govt has access, can remotely check even when 'off' and look through the camera and listen in while the phone appears to be off.
Rfid blockers or shove in faraday cage...
After turning it off, can you encase it in some signal blocking package or something that can stop any kind of transmissions?
In fact, your phone transmits a 'ping' every 90 nano-seconds. It is essentially a tracking device no different than an ankle bracelet for criminals. The 90 nano-second pings allow government and nefarious sources to know exactly where you are within 2.4 centimeters. That is less than an inch (0.995") of incredible accuracy. Think of the ramifications of this. It's like carrying a bomb on you with 'someone' else having control of the detonator.
This is one of the reasons I got rid of my cell phone more than 4 years ago. I'm a free man and feel completely liberated without that hellish thing.
I find it interesting that Elon Musk said the implantable ID chip is already here. He said it is your smart phone, but you don't know it yet.
Yep. Now across country from home and though I have all traceable setting turned off and use Brave instead of Google which I disabled, I still get Spam calls left and right from WA
#AlexJonesWasRightAgain
some way or another they are tracking all of us
faraday cage it?
OH YEAH? How about when I slide it into a lead lined bag? What then genius? Last I checked a potato chip bag does the same thing.
