The Founders specifically defined treason so that a future president down the line couldn't charge someone with treason for speaking ill of them. Hell, Big Ears once put out a tweet, basically saying that speaking ill of the president and wishing for failure isn't patriotism, but is treason. I'm not going to make the argument that nothing that the cabal has done is treason, but we shouldn't throw it around willy nilly - we should treat 'crimes against humanity' the same as well.

Just on cursory consideration, that's bringing this back to (imho) two top contenders of either the election theft or perhaps the military equipment left in Afghanistan. POTUS has been steadfast in bringing up both the election theft as well as the Afghanistan debacle/travesty in almost every talk-speech he gives.
Trying to prove marxists are trying to destroy this country from within via corrupt placements in: media, school boards, the judicial system, law enforcement, military, higher education, medical-pharmaceutical, big tech and other companies, the political establishment, etcetera would be a lot harder to establish an "enemy combatant" link if I had to guess.
The election theft has ties to foreign countries, but the arrest is going to have to be pretty high up the food chain as most minions (like mules or corrupt USPS employees), or even mid-level players (corrupt election officials, governors, AGs, etc) won't have had any contact with foreign entities.
The Afghanistan travesty may provide a military traitor to arrest to get the ball rolling and there will definitely be political establishment involvement. If there's to be a precipice event I could see a potential tie-in with this issue. On the other hand it still has to come back around to the stolen election (Dominion in the US and globally) and more widespread, embedded domestic issues via collusion with enemy combatants, etc.

I can see Nan going to one of these and being arrested by China/Russia, the US military becoming involved. That could get us to a precipice.
If we're looking for an arrest by US military, on the other hand, I like other options for collusion with enemy combatants. However, show a corrupt DS US military plant selling military equipment (from Afghanistan) to a perceived combatant who turns it around to use on the US and we have collusion.

Isn’t the complication that he was the sitting President when these things happened? Even if he did violate a law (which is highly unlikely) the only recourse would be impeachment, not criminal charges. Granted it doesn’t mean they might not try.
