Not just boycott. Visit them first and THEN turn and walk the fuck out. Let them know why. Give them a chance to FEEL it. The left lives by feelings.
Make sure you scream like a lispy queer.
Hand on your hips and shout “well, I NEVER thought in my lifetime that a bi-racial, non-binary, trans queer Kekistanian pan sexual like me would be denied a cup of coffee in the Youuunited States of America.”
{take out phone}
“I’m recording this, just so you know, and this is going on TikTok, it’s going on Twitter, and I’m gonna get Anderson Cooper up in here cause I know he’s gonna want to know about THIS whole operation here.”
“It’s MA’AM!!!”
🤣🤣🤣
Up vote for "beastophobia." That's a good one. That will probably be on the Fake News next week as The Current Thing.
How do got think screaming pedo accusations at some uninterested minimum wage slave for not accepting your sweaty handful of ones is going to appear to any sane person observing?
Exactly.
Do you seriously believe that these people give a shit? They'll just be happy they won't have to make a coffee.
How is that even legal? "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private"
Its not a debt?
Order the coffee first and it is.
Sample it first too.
They know that, and they’ll probably struggle with that. But they expect mass compliance. It’s grooming their sheep for a digital government controlled currency.
Printing money was never this easy, strokes on a keyboard. Gonna love those $30 milk jugs. Sorry 30NCC national currency coins.
Regardless of what they printed on the notes, there is no actual law (ie a statute passed by congress) saying that businesses have to accept cash. This is a country with broad freedoms; they can say that you can’t pay in pennies, or that you are required to barter with ammunition. It’s a free country. If you don’t like it, don’t shop there.
I get a discount when using cash at a place I buy car parts from. He doesn’t advertise it. But the first time I went to him he smiled when he saw I was pulling cash out and let me know there was a discount.
We pay our yard guys in cash. Hubbie likes to get that no tax cash break
we call it petty cash, lol
Having dealt a little with merchant accounts and CC transactions you learn that VISA etc charge the seller a fee of 1-5% for transactions. That's how they make money. Usually its 2-3%. Many people set their prices assuming you will pay with a CC and give you that 3% back as a discount when you pay cash. When your profit margin is 5% a 3% loss means you will go broke pretty quickly.
Several small businesses in my 'hood upcharge for credit.
Depending on the amount and the state, that actually might be illegal (unlike refusing to accept cash).
Same with our local has stations
It’s probably a discount in the neighborhood of 3% as that saves him the fees to VISA. Good for him to offer that.
Yup this is the fight of our lifetime right here.
This, and more. I also pay more to support local businesses and economy who use their own energy into building, instead of buying cheap shit made in chyna. I also remember local businesses that denied services and helped fuel segregation during the scamdemic. No, “doing what we were told” is not an excuse. Fuck you motherfuckers, justice is coming.
We use cash for pretty much all in-person purchases because it helps us stay in budget and keeps us from overspending through a debit card or going into debt through a credit card. We save so much when I go to get groceries and I only have 80 bucks, I stick to my list and if I go over, something gets put back 🙏
My gf just showed me Starbucks is going cashless. I wouldn’t spend a dollar of mine there anyways but I know allot of people who spend $50 a week at Starbucks. GET OFF THE STARBUCKS! There are always local shops that can give you the same thing for less.
Just make sure to boycott companies like "StarBucks" products also because if you boycott their cafe but buy StarBucks coffee elsewhere, it's the same as supporting them.
Yes, yes, and yes! Some businesses try to do this during the Covid. In addition to not wearing a stupid mask in their establishment, if they said they were only taking debit cards, I would walk out. I refuse to do business with a company that will not take cash
And... support cash only businesses out there. There are many restaurants and food shops in the Philly area that only take cash. Start whining there and they'll either point you to the ATM or just tell you to fuck off because you're literally holding up the line. Love it!
Lol they don’t want to pay taxes, same as NYC
I'm with you on that. Will be checking out the local starbucks next week with a large order carrying only greenbacks.
This a million times. If I see it, I put them on blast on my neighborhood ⁹app with a big tirade of whats wrong about a cashless society
Yup
I can help them have as little cash as they are interested in having, and then less than that number.
Put the exact amount of cash on the counter and walk out. What are they going to do? Get you for stealing?
I know a few that are strictly cash only. Bout to shop more often.
I agree except for smaller mom/pop food shops. I can tell you having a lot of experince in that realm that retail food is TOUGH. And if you are running, a sandwich shop let’s say, to be able to automate the cashier job even if it means losing a few cash sales is basically necessity at this point to compete with the big boys and with ultra inflated inventory prices and inflated labor costs. The only alternative is charging 25 bucks for a 8 dollar sandwich …. Currently we’re only at about 16 bucks or so for that 8 dollar sammich … but automation or expediting checkout is the last line of labor cutting keeping it from being a McDonald’s only world for many smaller food spots. Tip in cash for sure tho.
Paid cash all during covid when they had those stupid fucking “no cash, change shortage” signs up everywhere.
Everyone had change. Every time.
Meires tavern in Glenview IL only takes cash. Its an awesome place, like walking into a bar in 1930. 20 oz Dab on tap for $5.00 a great burger for $9.00 with tots and they will always by a drink for you if you're a regular.
cash is inconvenient and expensive. It's not because the incompetent state wants to enslave us with CBDCs that cashless is bad. Cashless backed with gold would be excellent.I understand stores who want to go cashless. I don't excuse stores who want to know your vax status for purchasing.
Could they be going cashless because they can't find anyone smart enough to figure out how to make change. Math is hard...and racist.
True
But the robberies would be diminished as for cash registers and focused more on civilian homes. So F—- all their words.
Wouldn't it suck if masses and masses of people did things like go to restaurants that jump on the fascist no-cash / CBDC bandwagon, order a bunch of food, and then say
"oops... I didn't realize you guys were CBDC only / fascist; I don't have that crap & never will. See ya!"
Okay.
