We have no way of knowing when his brain died. The knee on the neck was for show, as there were people up close doing the video who didn't show up in other videos from other directions. Everything on TV is a show, including the news and documentaries.

The medical examiner stated clearly that Floyd was still alive at the hospital. He didn't say that Floyd was dead and just declared dead at the hospital. Court testimony matters at least a little.

This is the first time I think I've seen ANYTHING mention the bodycam footage. The bodycam video is like 40+ minutes and clears up a LOT about this story, including Floyd fighting with the officers the whole time, while they're actually incredibly patient with him. Him claiming he's claustrophobic and can't breathe because he doesn't want to be in the cop car. I think he even asks them to put him on the ground, though I may be misremembering that detail. He's on the ground as an alternative to sitting in the back of the police car though.
Anyway, there's a freaking long bodycam video of the whole thing out there. Seems like an important thing to see before rioting for a whole summer, maybe?
The 15 minutes of bystander video was out there like the next day. The bodycam footage followed a few weeks later. It was obvious he wasn't killed or hurt by anyone sitting on his head or neck. He was OD'ing and flopping like a fish. You do what was done to protect them from themselves until the squad arrives.

I think it only got worse with the advent of social media. A lot of users are addicted to it and need to post things that get likes to keep their dopamine levels high. By falling in-line and virtue signaling, they are able to keep a steady stream of likes, regardless if their intent is genuine, or not.
