It is complicated, but this is the only way Congress will realize they work for us. Make it easier to remove from office by special election.

Just because he is a businessman and can write off losses of business makes his income lower. Consider the taxes we pay out: Federal, state, SS, sales tax, gas tax, real estate tax, etc . (1) Those who own a lot of real estate often have losses for tax purposes due to depreciation.
(2) Although it varies from one year to the next, sometimes the "Alternative Minimum Tax" can create a tax that otherwise would be less or zero.
