How could Damar Hamlin have needed 9 minutes of CPR then be completely fine two weeks later? No brain damage, “passed” heart tests everything. Seems fishy to me.

I think it was staged to normalize the idea of having heart problems.
People now will say "It's no big deal if someone has a heart issue". As long as they get the correct treatment. They will be ok.

When I was a kid I got pushed off a pier and hit my head. I almost died and had about 7 minutes of CPR. I was told I got insanely lucky.

Wasnt he in a coma or intubated on the 6th? If so, NO way HE applied for those (lame ass) trademarks.
If he was receiving "high quality compressions" (as AHA trains) then 9 minutes is really nothing... If they were good compressions then his blood was being pumped through his body (aka carrying oxygenated blood to his brain) which would ultimately protect his brain.

And he was intubated for what, a week?, yet was miraculously able to then have not only monitoring devices removed to don a stupid jersey soon after having tube out, but able to lift his arms and move into said small jersey? After my MIL had her tube out several years ago, it took quite some time for her to be able to lift her arms above her head and not deal with some pain and discomfort when doing so. She also wasnt talking the next day either..

CPR keeps the blood moving and oxygen circulating in the brain… to some degree. It can be enough to prevent brain death until the heart restarts and breathing restored.
It’s not as if he was dead with no blood flow for nine minutes and then his heart restarted. That would have resulted in brain death, yes. But that’s not what happened.
