Mood seemed normal, everyone working away. Until, that is, you ask them. They're sad. Many people have been working there for 5 or ten years, and Priscilla and Lisa both frequented Graceland. It's still their house, and ultimately they run the show.
Some felt very sad. Some were worried about what will happen to Graceland now. Otherwise, I was surprised that the workers seemed to have a real respect for the family and reverence for Elvis.

A girl I dated in college was named after Lisa Marie. A stellar girl from Ireland, but somehow I knew we weren't meant to be. She was athletic and I was a nerd. Unfortunately, the nice Christian girl I once knew has fallen apart and gone down a dark path, now married to a raging atheist. I do pray that this "Great Awakening" will be more than just a political event but a spiritual one as well.

The man is a dead ringer for Elvis, listening to him talk about his past, it doesn’t surprise me that in 1977 he faked his death, went into witness protection, signed over all his rights and merchandising to his ex wife so she and their daughter would be taken care of for life. Became a pastor to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and live a peaceful life in obscurity.

That said, there’s no way Joyce is Elvis. He’s been confronted and asked on camera more than once. He’s not. And he doesn’t even sound like Elvis.

I had no idea about her son until today. You could feel a real mother's turmoil. I hope she has found und peace. I'm not religious, but I know the rules on suicide, but I do not agree. These people are already in hell. So sad.
If you are speaking of Christian beliefs on suicide I’m not an expert. Growing up in church and going to several different denominations it’s my understanding there’s differences in beliefs. Honestly I don’t know. I’ve been taught once saved always saved, at least that’s what Baptist believe. I personally believe most people that commit suicide aren’t in their right mind. I believe God doesn’t punish children and people that are mentally ill. Like many questions there are things we will never know until we are in heaven.
My personal belief is that God put us here for a reason, if we bail early we are going back on whatever it was we agreed to come here to do.
As to what the consequences are for such an act, well, I'd rather not find out the hard way.

It's always been one of the "rules" I do not agree with. I'm very lucky that even at my lowest, I never entertained suicide (except briefly giving up my fight against cancer when I was a kid because chemo was absolutely fucking horrible - mom talked me back into the fight).
Then when in the Marines, I saw and knew a few who committed suicide and what they went through and saw, it's hard to truly blame them.
It's just never been a rule I've supported. Maybe I've had to constantly think of death my entire life. Not too many 18 year olds have million dollar life is insurance and wills, but this guy does!
Give me the chapter and verse on suicide rules.
