In Southeast Texas, I don't know anybody who is still getting "booster" shots.
I know people that had both Covid "vax" shots... and about 1/2 of them lined up for their first "booster" vax... but there aren't very many that went back for a 2nd "booster".
I also haven't seen anybody lining up for the annual Flu Shot either.
People know there is something wrong. Sometimes they don't talk about it... or can't quite figure out what's wrong, but increasingly fewer people are even considering taking the "vax" shots.
Many people that I know who took the original two shots didn't take any more. Those would be the types that took it so they wouldn't have to be hassled. Some I know were angry that they got sick from the shots and then got COVID anyway. Especially those who had unvaccinated friends or family do as well or better without. But the ones all in. Fuggetaboutit. They can't line up fast enough. So in my experience there are three types:
No way no how this is a hill I will die on;
Fooled me once shame on you, or; I did what I needed to do to work/travel;
More daddy more!!
Percentages in my Blue City probably are 1) 15% at best 2) 45% and 3) 40%.
I saw a post here that was a link to a Reddit pharmacist group where people are addicted to these shots a go back for them even before the month or so you are supposed to wait.
All the scare tactics have worked to the point that these people are now neurotic and must have the jab to feel safe and in control. They could be given a placebo and have the same effect.
I have a liberal friend in NJ. She was complaining that she's been to 4 funerals in 4 months. She's also heard many other stories of relatives of less closer friends who have died suddenly. I asked: "were they all vaccinated?" Her response: "oh, don't be ridiculous. The vaccine has nothing to do with this." Cognitive dissonance is very strong, sadly.
"Ok, lets pretend (just for a second) that I'm right that the vaxx is hurting people. Would it be important (to a moral person) to know about this? And if it is important, doesn't it make sense to spend just a little time finding out if I'm right?"
If they answer 'No' to the first question, they are admitting they are not moral.
If they answer 'No' to the second question, they are admitting to deadly laziness.
Personally, I don't see it as a morality issue, as it is an identity issue. My friend identifies so strongly with the Democrat party, that she doesn't question their policies. Even though she doesn't care for specific movements within the D party (trans, grooming) and is a small business owner herself, she is absolutely convinced that life would be 1000 times worse under a Republican. For generations, her family has always voted D. She's generous to strangers, doesn't virtue signal. She'll spend Thanksgiving feeding the homeless, and not brag about it. And part of her makeup is that Government has her best interests at heart, particularly a D government. Government tells her to get vaccinated. Therefore, she'll obey. Its sad that the D party my friend believes in, doesn't exist. Yet she cannot see that. Hers is an idealized version of the D party where everyone loves their fellow man & lives in peace and harmony, and government is always honest. Her identity is so wrapped in this idealized version of the D party, that nothing can break this bond.
This, you have a lot who are oblivious or in denial that the D party has changed dramatically and act like it's still the 90's. My dad is slowly waking up to the Uniparty to where his Democrat brother gets confused when he hears us curse the names of McConnell and co while speaking praise of others like Gaetz though that might also be because Dem voters are heavily indoctrinated into never questioning another Dem period. But yeah in general older Dem voters keep pretending that all this drag queen and trans agenda shit is stuff that we made up even though their own people push it which makes me wonder if they are so oblivious that they never even listen to anything and don't actually know what their party is really up to. I find the later possible as up until 2020 I had checked out of politics and the news so much that I had no idea what even Rs were up to and was shocked by all the TDS when I started paying attention again as I had missed so much of it by not tuning in to media for the previous three years.
Personally, I don't see it as a morality issue, as it is an identity issue.
I understand what you are trying to say here, but it is a morality issue. If it is true (that the vaxx harms people), then someone is immoral to support it (even if they 'identify' with a party).
So, yes, your friend may 'identify' a certain way, but the issue of morality is larger than the issue of identification.
One of many things I'll never understand is the generational R/D voter, specifically democrat. They're the "my grandfather and father voted democrat, so I will too." They don't have an original thought in their head.
Sciatica that will not go away...for months. Hip and joint pains that make walking unbearable...doctors are recommending hip replacement surgeries to these fools. They also recommended the shots and boosters. The medical industry needs to be replaced with nutritionists and herbalists.
Thanks for the reply. Your comment raised a flag as I have a friend, rabidly pro-“vaccine”, who had to have a hip replacement due to extreme pain and now the other hip is heading in the same direction. I’m assuming your contention is that these conditions are caused by the jabs (?) and/or that they can be overcome with herbs and proper nutrition? Either way this individual will not listen to any warning against the jabs, but maybe will be willing to try some dietary alternatives to alleviate pain.
Some of the smartest people are rednecks that can fix anything, with good wives while some intelligentsia types with PhDs are morons outside their narrow field of study and have shrew wives.
Who is the “dumb” ones in this scenario?
Got into an online conversation the other day with some lady who was questioning the sudden deaths and possibility of it being vax related. But did not want to come right out and say it bc the other strangers on the internet might mistake her for a right wing conspiracy quack.
I know some people who have backed off taking the jabs, but those who are still big booster-vaccine fans, getting juiced up by flu shots and shingles vaccines and covid jabs, are having their health flushed down the toilet and refusing to make the connection. So sad.
I have a few family members still getting every booster due to the fact they still want to do things that require them or used to require them. (cruising, flying, theme parks etc) I have tried to talk to them for a few years but have given up. They say they cant understand why there getting sick all the time and me and my wife just shank our head. One of them has had Bells Palsy and the other shingles and now its heart issues. Its just a matter of time before they get a real bad jab but its there life.

Makes you wonder whether they're putting something addictive into the jabs.
Wtf man
That's a legitimate mental illness.
All the scare tactics have worked to the point that these people are now neurotic and must have the jab to feel safe and in control. They could be given a placebo and have the same effect.
Govern me harder, daddy!
Must be nice to live in Texas. Here in NJ they are still lining up for them, their kids too. Flu shots and boosters in one visit. Sick.

In my opinion, of course.

There are people who are Rs for the same reason - lifelong indoctrination.
Even here many refuse to admit the uniparty is a thing.

Again....only my opinion.
Yes, it’s a moral issue. The main planks of the Democrats are coercion of labor and forced redistribution of earnings, which are highly immoral.
But they somehow convince millions they are the moral high ground. It’s kind of amazing in a way
...yet.
One of many things I'll never understand is the generational R/D voter, specifically democrat. They're the "my grandfather and father voted democrat, so I will too." They don't have an original thought in their head.
It's trying to convince someone their religion is wrong, because this IS a religion to them.
“Well why did they die of covid then?”
“They didn’t die of covid!”
“You can’t possibly know that unless they were being tested every day!”
Yeah, still wouldnt know, the tests produce 95+% false poitives
The sensitivity of the test were jacked up to 30%
It is fren... praying for you folks in NJ!
Property values will fall from all the houses on the market from all the "died suddenlys"!
good meme anon
In the Northeast they are--just heard someone the other day proudly say the spouse was on the fifth.
💔
Same here...and none of them can figure out why they keep getting sick and have back and hip issues
Back and hip issues? Can you elaborate?
Sciatica that will not go away...for months. Hip and joint pains that make walking unbearable...doctors are recommending hip replacement surgeries to these fools. They also recommended the shots and boosters. The medical industry needs to be replaced with nutritionists and herbalists.

Many coworkers seem to be sick every few weeks. It is weird.
Huh?
My friend his mom was excited to get the flu covid cocktail shot and then was upset it made her feel sick.
Those who can’t research, read, or watch real news before deciding will be responsible for their destiny.
It's always been annoying for those of us in the middle who like science but also love our "redneck" pursuits.
Some of the smartest people are rednecks that can fix anything, with good wives while some intelligentsia types with PhDs are morons outside their narrow field of study and have shrew wives.
Who is the “dumb” ones in this scenario?
Down here in south Louisiana we have an additional category of "coonass" (since we there aren't any hills.....
It’s fun to be more intelligent than the academics but to present oneself as a redneck

And the pneumonia jab.
And remember the chyna jab can cause shingles post vaxx.
It's so good they have that shingles vaxx.
I have a feeling in about a year shortages of any kind will not be a problem.
Yeah if anything it's going to get worse in areas depending on how the manufacturer and supply chain is disrupted by the die off.
Gotta love when the trash takes itself out.
No one I know in oklahoma is getting them.
People here are naturally pretty based.

I still see a few people doing it, but a lot have said "no more". At least not until the coercion starts back up.
Great meme. Thanks.

When by pharmacy other day. Yep, still a line of people waiting for their shots.
I'm no longer seeing signs for the "vax" or "flu" shots posted outside of our local Walgreens, CVS pharmacies...... Progress?
Don’t stress about it, they won’ t be around much longer.
This is fine meme
There's nothing wrong with you, so don't be worried.
Oh my, are you saying the clot thickens? 🤣
They will be doing it on the last days...not aware of anything....
