Honestly, I think people have become desensitized to these shootings. Since Biden took office there has been dozens. It has become routine. I am unable to reconcile why the normies havent been able to make the leap to the thinking that there is a sinister reason beyond what the surface story is telling them. I always ask after these why this didnt happen during the four years of Trump with such regularity and am met by blank stares.
I have a police scanner app and it'll send me notifications about anything "major" around the country that has alot of listeners (ie: Philadelphia last night. Ironically I never received a single one about Ohio, or any other train derailment)
There's about 200k listeners right now on this shooting- they're still actively reporting gunshots.
There have been a few kids/teens go missing around me in the past few weeks. Another girl went missing Friday night without a trace, but someone called in a possible sighting of her and the cops found the other missing teen, so that was good. But this 12yo has just vanished. Sadly, the cops are being negligent in my opinion. Won't call it a kidnappingwouldnt deploy their dogs, so friend of the family deployed his hound that tracked her to the gas station across the stree. She's not on security cameras there though. Major intersection of a US highway and a state road just a couple miles from a major toll interstate. It's sickening to think where she probably is.

Apparently, while Discovery and Picard are indeed dog trash, Lower Decks is actually kinda good. Shame about the character designs, but it seems the writing makes up for it.

I always thought that was Gene Roddenberry not thinking things through, especially when he attempted to make capitalists (the Ferengi) villains in the awful first season of TNG. Humanism ignores human nature.
Thankfully, the Ferengi became so much better in DS9. They were so much fun, and had their share of awesome moments, too.
And before you say what I think you're going to say, I said I had a soft spot for the series. I didn't say I liked everything about it. Roddenberry had lost his mind by TNG thanks largely to all the drugs he'd done, and the show became significantly better once he was removed from power.
My favorite is that they ditched the business suit for work pajamas. Kinda like federal employees today that are still Woking from home because of muh covid.
