Because breaking the law gives the corruptible a sense of power. Because 'getting away with it' (or thinking they are) makes them feel more intelligent and more clever than their fellow man. Because crime can be lucrative. All this gives them a false sense of pride and prestige.
This connects a lot of dots we knew were connected, somehow. I still believe those two pallets of ballots they loaded onto that truck ended up in the chicken barn fire. No, I can't prove it, but it makes sense. They didn't load up only two pallets, breaking chain of custody, for nothing. They got them on the truck, pretending to be delivering them to the senate. Only then to be told they couldn't deliver them, which they knew would happen. Crooked as hell, and they all need to go to prison.
I also believe there are some bad actors in the senate. Remember the one guy that voted no? Damn, Arizona really is the wild west, still.
EDIT: It was 6 pallets. They said at the time it was 2.1 million ballots, but as it turns out there were only something like 300K . When they did the audit, I remember there was something like 30 pallets, not 6. I will go to my grave believing they destroyed Trump votes and installed Runbeck printed ballots in their place. Maybe that's why Bennet oversaw the whole thing.

WOW 🤯 I just listened to this 42 minutes of testimony and it is incredibly damaging. Sinaloa Cartel, Arizona politicians, judges, lawyers, Mesa (Arizona) police department, Runbeck Election Services, and more… it’s crazy how many are involved.
Her company wasn’t even looking into election fraud, but their investigation into money laundering through phony real estate transactions ended up leading them to the election fraud system in place. Kari Lake was 100% correct when she promised that all these people will be going to prison. This corruption is being exposed and nothing can stop it at this point. Now we better understand why Trump recently announced his agenda to take down the cartels when he returns to office.
