Christ is King!
Fasting is amazing. It's like maintenance mode for the body. So many good things come from fasting. It lets the body focus on repair and cleaning. Everyone should be doing it from time to time. It's like getting an oil change on the car or swapping out filters, the body needs time to repair as well.
Have you ever gotten headaches from fasting? For 20+ years I would get terrible migraines if I didn't have food in my system. I'm not more than 10 lbs overweight and have always been pretty active.
BUT after taking some ivermectin last summer I noticed that I can go 14 - 16 hours without eating and NO headache. Not even a hint.
This has me wondering if when Parasites are starved of sugar and carbs they die off and release chemicals that induce headaches.
A lot of info in the Parasite Pill document makes sense.
Maybe the ivermectin knocked out my parasites and now there is no consequence to fasting. 🤷♂️
Some of that document is utter nonsense but the effect parasites can have is incredible, many cravings for food is just your gut biome leaning on you to feed THEM their preferred foods (starch sugar etc)
Yes!!
Don't bother saving it. It's outmodded garbage. See the links in my post.
Gluttony, is one of the most potent weapons of our Enemy. Fasting is a powerful weapon. It allows the body to use it's energy to repair itself, instead of processing an endless flow of food, much of which is actually toxic to our health. Eating once a day, in the evening, was a common practice in the ancient world. The Greeks looked down upon anyone who ate more than once a day.
Most of our modern foods are a poison. The body needs time to clear itself of those poisons.
You can make even more gain by staying away from processed foods, and going back to only those things in the basic natural food groups.
Sugar and the sugar substitutes are the biggest problem, and salt is used to give you the craving for the sugar.
stevia is a proven contraceptive. please research that, especially if you're a woman.
Stevia is chemicals. As good as it is, give up the baking😀
Ive went from 350 lbs to 240lbs over last 3 years intermittent fasting. I also do not eat any fast food.
16 8 fast. Often do 24.
Well, most fast food restaurants make me want to vomit just smelling the food while its in the bag.
2 fast food restaurants do not make me ill. In and out and chik fil a.
Go figure, both of those restaurants have christian founders. Makes me wonder if they do not use certain additives, others do.
Once you break free of soda, fast food and sugar, food taste better and you get in better shape
"Even just holding back on eating more food during meals is a fast."
No, you're not fasting if you break ketosis by eating carbs. To stay in ketosis you need to avoid carbs and you need a ketone meter to be certain what you're eating isn't knocking you out of ketosis because that's what fasting is.
"Fruit juices, preferably freshly squeezed or blended, diluted in 50 percent distilled water if the fruit is acid. Orange, apple, pear, grapefruit, papaya, grape, peach or other fruits are good."
Fruit juice eats the enamel off your teeth and it's an instant sugar spike... If you're diabetic or pre-diabetic (which most americans are) you're making your health worse by juicing.
That PDF is terrible. It's like it was written by someone that was educated 60+ years ago and then stopped learning anything new. Actually I may be spot on if the Dr. Bill Bright named in the document is this Bill Bright that also promoted the spiritual benefits of fasting. He was as much a doctor as Jill Biden is a doctor. Stop reading and sharing outdated shit by someone that was never a medical doctor. You'll never know why or how fasting works reading that.
Here's three actual Doctors you should follow.

I fast for 20 hours Monday - Friday, my eating hours are 4 PM - 8pm. I eat earlier on weekends and have a 8 hour window because my husband is home and we like food. I feel better and have more energy since I've been doing the 20 hour fasting.
I didn't intend to fast, it happened by accident. I found myself not eating until my husband got home from work and I realized I felt better so I just kept doing it since my body was already adjusted to it.
Our pastor discussed fasting last weekend, it was a really cool sermon. What he said is around the 14th or 17th hour of no food, you become very intellectually astute.
Soda staying up for 72 hours lol if you can make it past that second day, it’s a pretty cool thing.
With the depression I used to have, I could never sleep. So I finally got tired of trying to sleep when I couldn’t. I would stay up for days, and to be quite honest… Some of it was really fun. But I don’t do that anymore, my depression is under control, and I’m enjoying a more regular sleeping pattern. But still really… Not much sleep occurs at night sometimes. I’ll be up till 2 AM easily, same with my mom and she’s 82. I’ll get up to go to the restroom because I drink lots of water, it’ll be 2 AM and my mom still awake on the computer. However; she does have an account here, so maybe that’s the reason. Lol!
Holding back on eating more food is not a fast, though. Consuming nothing except water is a fast. Its not even about calories. Black coffee and plain tea break a fast, in the sense that any metabolizing compound disrupts the road to cellular autophagy. Entering autophagy is the key to the physiological and cognitive benefits.
I have heard conflicting information about that. Many fitness people I follow say that while black coffee may break a fast it won’t impede the losing weight benefit of fasting.
I just saw an expose today showing actual evidence that the Bible verse about fasting has been stripped from many Bibles. A few kept it. Fasting is so powerful many wanted to interfere with people knowing about it. The link: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cow_CkXJvdk/?igshid=NTdlMDg3MTY=
I enjoy the clear thinking that it brings along with the incredible benefits of autophagy.
I eat once a day, most of time grill out meats and veggies. I went from a fat fuck to no Dunlop disease. Humans don’t need food 24/7. We would hunt once a day and eat our kill. Did not need three meals with bad crap every day.
100% agree. Basically, what i do.
I've been intermittent fasting for the past couple years and done some short fasts, 4-5 days. I tried to do a longer one last week and got very ill on the 7th day. I took electrolytes and more water bur couldn't feel better so I had a cup of broth. Day 8, still sick: nauseous, headache, unbelievable leg pain, weakness, still taking electrolytes. So I ate a tiny meal, about a cup of food. Became violently ill. Projectile vomiting and diarrhea. On going leg pain etc. What a great day! That night I took Ivermectin but no noticeable improvement. Day 9, felt like crap and decided whatever was wrong, I wasn't fixing it and I needed a new plan. I ate a micro carnivore meal of about 300 calories. I did the same thing on day 10, 11 and 12. I don't feel great, but I'm not well. I've lost 17 pounds this fast and 10 on my January fast. My question to you brilliant bastards: what do you think happened to me? There can't be that much difference between a 5 day fast and 7, can there? Was it a toxin dump? Not enough potassium? Which seems ridiculous because I was taking electrolytes and you are supposed to be able to fast on water only with no supplements. I'm super disappointed because I was trying for a full 40 day Lenten fast, knowing full well I might have to break it up into many smaller fast, but I was okay with that. I know I can still lose weight on OMAD carnivore or ketovore but I really wanted to heal some things.
I honestly thought the broth would perk me up and I'd be fine by morning. On day 8 I had a cup of tea and scrambled eggs. I have real salt for just licking when I need it and then a powdered mix (no sugar, no artificial sweetener) of everyday essentials. Similar to an EmergenC but made by Vitacost. Those give you 200 mg Potassium, 225 mg sodium and a bunch of vit and trace minerals. I take 200 mg Magnesium too. I was at home for most of the day so I would down a glass of filtered water every time I was thirsty. The only other weird thing was that on the morning of day 7 I had done a bit of gardening. I planted a blueberry bush, which involved moving a couple bags of dirt and mulch, but really, it was nothing.
What electrolyte powder did you end up with? Maybe because I'm older (62) I need a better balanced drink?
I did wonder about eggs. I know I can't eat the cheap ones with the pale yellow yolks but I had good eggs. You're right, I probably should have just gone with fat. I may go have some blood work done just rule out anything I can't detect myself, but to be honest, the thought of going to any healthcare professional is not appealing. Interesting note: I've had a eustachian tube disturbance since last June when I had covid. My ears were full of fluid and drained all the time and were itchy and scabby like a fungal infection. All the usual things didn't kill it but by day 5 it was clear and I could hear properly again. So that's a win!
I'll try that. Thanks for your help. I do so much research but sometimes you need a human to look at things a different way for you. Appreciate your help.
Cut out seed oils, startchy carbs and sugars. Cut anything that comes in a box right out of your diet. Minimize eating out (the shit they serve up has seed oils carbs and sugar and some of it is right from a box).
Commenting just so I can find this later. Great discussion, frens!
