Yuengling is a far superior domestic lager to any of the Anheuser offerings. There's a reason why it remains immensely popular in today's crowded market and yet also retains its original character and flavor that old school beer drinkers recognize as iconic and high-quality.
As for the comments,
"Don't do politics; ruins business"
Yet these leftist faggot fucksticks have no problem when companies get political and act against any right-wing or conservative cause. They love social justice and corporate activism in this case.
"Private company, they can do and say what they want!"
Personally I agree with the base sentiment of "keep politics out of business". I mean, just shut up and sell me the product.
Been drinking the Yueng for awhile now. And that’s because I knew it was one of the oldest American owned breweries.
PSA: Don’t wait for shit like this to happen. You should already be researching American owned and made products that you use / consume and choosing them.
Your PSA needs to be highlighted. Just because a product is made in America doesn't mean it's ok. How many buy Coors- which got the top LGBT rating 15 years in a row? Bud is broken, Coors is broken, Jack is broken, others too!
They should do this anyway. Yuengling is all-American and proud of it. Still owned and operated by the Yuengling family. They've never compromised or sold out to bigger corporate interests. They keep their values and their product intact.
I tried it many years ago while traveling for work and really liked it. But it wasn't available where I live until recently. They've expanded nationwide so now available in Texas.
Not available in California either, although I just saw on the Yuengling website it was available in my 2nd home state of Oklahoma. I haven't seen Yuengling there because I'm usually looking for F5 IPA brewed in OKC.
My brother lives in CO and told me the Coors family is conservative. Is this true? I drink Coors for domestic beers and Coors Banquet is legitimately a good beer.
When I clicked this post I was coming in to comment my suggestion to switch to Yuengling. You could consider me an expert in Yuengling….a LOT of experience drinking it. I could go on and on about Yuengling but lemme just say this. The hangovers from Yuengling are very mild if not non existent. I have heard it’s because they put less preservatives in their beer. They could have changed things…I don’t drink anymore…when I did drink, I could go all day drinking Yuengling Light (Pure Michigan lake life (drove to get it in Ohio)…(before that Pennsylvania))….we are talking 12 hrs plus drinking as many beers as I could handle…(not recommending that, I was a pro). The next day I could do the same thing. 3-4 days straight…no problems. Any time we ran out of Yuengling and switched to coors, miller or bud light…..the next day after that was a hellish hangover. God Bless America!!
Brewery is located about 50 miles away from our house. Took the tour. Dick Yuengling has retired and turned the operations over to his daughters. They are expanding the availability of their beer so you might find it in your area.
Had my first Yuengling lager in Washington DC on a trip to the east coast. I really liked it and was bummed when I got back to California and found out you couldn't get it here. That was 19 years ago and it's still unavailable here.
Making due with Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA as I type this. Sierra Nevada is family owned and operated and I hope they remain that way. The big brewers snap up the little brewers and always seem to screw up things.
Yuengling, A PA beer, if you know, you know. AMAZING daily drinker, Black and tan = money. Lord Chesterfield is an absolute underated yuengling beer, great daily drinker if you favor IPA's/hoppy over Lagers. I have drank both for 20 plus years, The only caveat is quality control, some distros will let cases sit un fridged and sell em anyways, and when Yuengling gets hot and cold back and forth can be very skunky. Not Yuenglings fault...Two things PA does well aside from philly cheesesteaks, Middleswarth bbq chips and Yuengling beer.
Victoria Bitter. Australian Beer. Best Beer in the world - hands down. If you try it, make sure you chill it really cold. Must be cold. Do that, and you'll experience the best beer you've ever had.
Cold impacts flavor negatively like it does with cheese. Adjunct beers taste better cold whereas a craft with better ingredients opens up as it warms. American beer tastes worse as it warms.
I am afraid Coopers Ale or Pale Ale trump VB, at any temperature. Each to their own though. ( I don’t actually drink anymore but wanted to add a vote from SA )
I've been thinking about opening my own micro brewery. Advertising the meme "this is fine toon dog"... no matter your politics or gender, my beers taste the same.
The only issue is the metallic taste. If the would line their vats and kegs it would help cut down on that twang. Otherwise, it is far far better. Amber beer with a rich flavor of nuttiness and roasty toastydarkness.
When I lived in Utica, NY for a short while I did the FX Matt brewery tour several times. Founded in 1888 by Francis Xavier Matt it is still in business today even after a disastrous 2008 fire in their packaging facility. They have a nice beer named Saranac.
No idea of their politics, if they have any, but the brewery tour is really cool - we used to wind up in the bar at the end of the tour for a "complimentary beverage" which got endlessly refilled and always turned into a fun wasted afternoon...

But the hypocrisy is thick with these people.
Almost too thicc!!!! https://files.catbox.moe/y6x2ho.gif
Sam Adams still family ownded (and not woke to my knowledge) as well as Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Pbr tastes like cat piss.
#1 ingredient. American Wildcat, not those wimpy house cats.
For bland domestic beer its better than Coors or Bud heavy.
Sam Adam's is the Ben and Jerry's of ice cream.
Great lakes brewing. Old Elliot ness is great. Ella Fitzgerald, burning river are pretty good. Their Christmas ale is the best.
I admit I may be out of the loop. What did they do?
Well, hell.
That's because they are thickheaded.

Those tweets were from 2016 so I can't help but be curious if anyone in that video has changed their tune now or if their TDS just got more entrenched
Pour a yeungling and a Budweiser in a glass and even just visually you know which one is a real lager
I do alot of that lately. Cheers to that.

I suspect once this gets out, Bud drinkers will switch to Yuengling. It's actually pretty good since I prefer a Lager beer.
Usually get budweiser. Got yeungling on the way home today.
GUINNESS!

Time to buy Yuengling

Sierra Nevada is the gold standard for IPA's imo
Guess I know what I'm buying later tonight and I guess I know who I'm harassing online tonight.
I can’t drink brewed beverages anymore (gout) but Yuengling is possibly the best lager beer made in the US.

My favorite beer:)
Bro. Yuengling's beers blow Budweiser out of the water any day of the year. Not even a fucking contest
I normally switch to Mexican beer for the summer. Not this year.
Yuengling has always been so much better than anything Anheuser makes. Bud light tastes cheap and is generally awful.
CA will ban the selling of Yeungling in the State.......mark my words

That's my brew! Local to home. Owner is indeed a Patriot. Yay! Now I'm thirsty!
I'm a die hard fan, of their Black and Tan.
Yuengling is my new beer!
I drink the local stuff, need to check if it's woke shit though

Eff the King of Beers... Show me the GEOTUS of beers!
Can only get yuengling in select markets
They opened the market for maw and paw to start brewing. You know what to do beer enthusiasts. Get you business going.
Treehouse is superior of all. You can only get it in MA. Worth it.
They sell 6-packs of pints here in Bama. That’s the appropriate size for a sixer. Love that stuff. If it ain’t Jack, it’s YL.
You can switch to another product, but make sure you tell Bud Light why you are doing so.
To bad it seems many craft breweries are run by pony boys or man buns. Like Founder’s. Not saying they are. Great Lakes better not be.😉
Yuengling I'd about to crash.
