Did ya'll listen to IL Donaldo trumps post? The music is from journey. Midnight train.
Oh man!
Makes sense that since the Bush, neo-con candidate is sinking fast that they'd trot out Mikey-Michelle. Remember, George Bush and her are buddies.
On Truth social Ohio AG is recommending that doctors and healthcare officials that forced the vax on people WILL be charged with murder. Maybe somebody can post it here.
I found a good use for ChatGPT.
Write something that will really trigger the liberals.
Then put it in chatgpt, and ask "Is the above statement correct? If not, how can it be corrected?"
And keep funneling your revised statement so the triggering still remains, however no one can find fault with it.
Then post it to trigger a liberal.
Trolling is fun
Interesting. This could even be a prompt for AutoGPT

Today is my last day, pet sitting, before I’ll be leaving for Kauai! I am so excited. 6 weeks. Yay!
Yay....have fun...it sounds great...
I know Trump is checking on his properties but does anyone think there is any other significance to Trump traveling to Ireland so shortly after Biden did?
Undoing whatever diplomatic mistakes Biden did.
Remember when Obama used to trail Trump on his world tour.
This is the opposite
Exactly what I was thinking.
I'd have to wonder, if coincidence.. wink wink.. the Duchess of Bucceluech passing today from Scottland oh, idk has anything to do with it. She or her husband one was supposed to perform or carry a torch for king Charles coronation on the 5th. From what I understand.

So Russia has increased activity in Ukraine, Trump stated yesterday that he's leaving 'soon' for Scotland/Ireland
Scare Event & He'll be safe on AF1 comes to mind....
I smelled instant ramen for the first time recently.
I was not expecting my mouth to water over such a cheap food. Good Lord, that smelled delicious.
Now I want to try some myself.
What do you think of it?
There is instant ramen and then there is instant ramen.
My top two preferences are the Korean versions (of which there are a kazillion) and the Japanese versions (of which there are close to a kazillion).
[ra-men] is originally a Japanese word, [ra-myeon] (라면) in Korean, and is a form of Japanized Chinese noodle. So, the Chinese have 'ramen' (although the word is different), but real "ramen" is Japanese.
By the way, non-instant ramen is a big deal in Japanese cuisine. There is nothing quite like it.
Trivial factoid: In the 1980's the South Korean government adopted instant ramyeon as an ideal emergency food, in the case of earthquakes or other catastrophes.
Image: about 1/100th of the available instant Korean noodles....

Ramen in japanese literally means "pulled noodles". Watching how ramen is made is quite fascinating as the noodles are created by pulling the dough again and again. I tried it once, and made quite a mess, hehe.
It's a great cheap alternative.
Try and look for the higher end ones though, even ones imported from Asia if you have a good Asian market nearby. I got an instant ramen pack that came in much nicer packaging than your typical cup of ramen and it cost only marginally more than the value pack.
One of the best meal's I've had even out of a packet.
Lived off it in school. A pack of ramen noodles and a bag of frozen vegetables can last you weeks. Use only a half a packet of seasoning. Good for when you're on a tight budget.
I’ve had it. It’s fine. Don’t put the whole seasoning packet in-it’s a salt bomb. Put about half and then taste it. You can add things to it like leftover chicken or veg but I’ve had it plain and it’s filling but I used to make two packets at once. I don’t eat that stuff anymore with keto but it’s quick and satisfying if you’re hungry.
Good idea. I think they put msg in the seasoning pack so I don’t use any of it. I season the noodles with Old Bay and hot sauce
There is so much you can do with ramen noodles. There are recipe sites online. I used to eat them a lot.
Frens,
I played in a poker tournament yesterday. No limit holdem tournament.
NLH poker is essentially psychological warfare. It is infinitely more complex than chess, and involves both controllable and uncontrollable elements.
In chess, all the moves are defined, and it's just you against one competitor.
In NLH, the random arrangement of the cards via shuffling means that there is always an uncontrollable 'luck' factor, and in this sense, it resembles life. To navigate this well, you need a wide variety of skills, including mathematical and calculation skills.
There is normally more than one opponent you have to deal with. The psychology of each opponent is a variable that is very often something quite hard to discern.
There is position, as opponents are seated in different positions and act in a particular sequence, and the power and strength of both your hand and your betting ability changes and is directly impacted by your position in the play.
In a tournament, the play is carried out over a period of time, and step by step, the value of the chips you hold and others hold changes.
Successful NLH play requires mental strength and emotional balance. Navigating the ups and downs, dealing with difficult situations, including what appear to be no-win scenarios, takes a certain amount of effort and discipline.
In NLH, when confronted by other players of even moderately comparable (or greater) skill, you yourself are the most important factor to control. Your stamina, your thinking, your emotions - all these are critical over an extended period of time.
You also need to have the capacity to take risks, and deal with the outcomes, both favorable and unfavorable, without getting knocked off your own inner track.
In some ways, playing NLH poker is akin to participating in the Great Awakening as an anon. I find there are many similarities.
BTW, yesterday, I played against a field of 192 opponents, and gained 2nd place. It took about 6 hours. I had to push myself and keep focused. I made some mistakes, but I also made some great moves.
Although it was great to get the prize money for 2nd, the best thing I took away was the feeling of satisfaction that I had performed mentally (and emotionally) at a high level, and I praise God for that.
I know that lots of different folks will play NLH for a wide variety of reasons, but for me, it's a love of the game, and the way it challenges me, about myself.
And I just wanted to say that.
That's awesome! I love poker and Texas hold'em.. very proud of you! My mom taught us to play on long car trips from Illinois to SC. So we wouldn't drive her crazy! Lol.
Congrats on cashing! Yeah the physical parts of chess vs hold em, pieces vs cards, respectively, are totally overt in chess but mostly covert (facedown) in hold em. This actually provides a satisfactory stopping point of calculations in hold em. You figure out the probabilities of “outs” that the next revealed cards could turn out to be, and you can act from there. Chess on the other hand can be an incessant grind of speculating what the move combinations could be. Cascades of compounding moves and contingencies that only stop when you decide you don’t want to think any more moves deeper. It’s such a grind that it makes chess less enjoyable. Sam Jackson’s character in Fresh (90s youth crime movie with chess as a metaphor) says chess is best on a turn clock.
That's awesome! I have the opposite of a poker face... my boss once said I needed to learn to hide my FU face. Lol
Botox helps with that.
<snort>
Lol
Don't wear mirrored sun glasses! Kek
Jade: Want to do a lude?
Man: (Loudly) You got ludes?
Jade: (nods head yes) No, I don't have any ludes! I wish I had ludes.
Man: I thought you said you had some.
Jade: (Loudly) No, I don't have some. (Whispering) I don't have enough.
Man: Oh, right. All right.
Jade: I wish I had some, you know.
One time I ran into a college buddy in the poker room at Tropicana AC and he told me his secret to playing was Adderall. He said it put him in a zone.
I used to sell bottles of Quaaludes when I was 14 years old. There was this nurse that lived by us, and I would get bottles for 50 bucks apiece. Huntington Beach in the 80s. Yes… I did a lot of other drugs too!
I’m so grateful to the Lord brought me out of that lifestyle. It was pretty rough for a while there. However; I will say that we did have some of the best acid. Timothy Leary was living just down the street in Laguna Beach.
My ex husband dated a nurse in LA who helped get the gerbil out of oh, what's his names butt.. Richard Gere! Cray cray stuff. Yes he is older than me. We divorced now. Lol
Yeah, growing up in Southern California was bizarre. I haven’t lived there in probably 25 years. Well, except for the time I lived at my dad’s house in kern county. That was about 3 to 5 years to taking care of him, and then after he passed away, liquidating his assets.
I'm not from the valley myself. But there was a big fish store in town of Reseda. Don't know the name. Later after the bad earthquake became a pottery store.
I lived in Reseda during that earthquake! Going through that prepared me for what we are going through now as far as being prepped with food, water, medical, gas up all vehicles before they hit half a tank and most important, keeping small denominations of cash - right after the earthquake, when you tried to purchase food or water they NEVER had change to give back! You had to have the exact amount! Crazy times
That’s interesting because that’s where my dad lived before he moved up to Kern county Bear Valley Springs area. I had to help him put his house back together after that Northridge earthquake. I just remember driving up and down the road and everybody’s brick walls were in the streets.
Oh, my. Sorry for that. My ex husband is from the San Fernando Valley. He moved to SC in the '90's. Reseda.
Rofht across from the post.office.
“Huntington Beach in the 80s”
The setting of Tapping The Source, which influenced many other stories (Point Break, North Shore, Lost Boys, The Beach, The Informers, etc) and included some topics that Q posted about.
Sort of makes you wonder….
Poker is beautifully complex.
Believe it or not, an episode of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure perfectly captured the mind games that go into a match--and it was presented in such a riveting way, that one episode got me to watch the rest of the series.
The episode was "D'arby the Gambler, Part 2."
Congratulations...quite an accomplishment...haven't you made posts in the past about the odds of certain things...they were interesting but over my head...
There was a 78% statistical probability that I would reply to your comment.
But that was before I read it.
You are TOO funny...but you certainly amaze me with your statistical probabilties......
Here's the encore:
93% of all statistics are made up on the spot!
Okay...can statistics be proven then?
It's an old joke. A quip. A jest. A funny, a witticism.
You just make up some random statistic, and say it on the spot (which I just did)!!! Works better verbally.
But if you're asking a serious question, count the number of times you visited a grocery or food store in the last two weeks. That's there your statistics. X visits in 2 weeks.
Can inferences drawn from statistics be proven? Sure. Predictions can be inferred. Then after they happen, they can be evaluated as more or less accurate.
But ultimately, inferences drawn from statistics are simply ideas, not facts. After they take place, they are no longer inferences. They become statistics.
Hey...I am a little slow on the uptake...but thanks for sharing the joke...and this is why YOU are the statistics person and I am NOT...I just enjoy your evaluations...have a great day...
Good morning pedes! Can anyone help me find the author and musical writer for an older Christian music song from about the 80’s…
The lyrics start like this:
“On the wind he speaks with majesty,
In the stars his handy work I see,
Though he ruleth over land and sea,
What is that too me?
It is a song I remember very fondly from my youth in Bible camp, but even after a search on lyrics.com I can’t find the author nor who even sang it.
Anyone?

He's Everything to Me / Lyrics
In the stars His handiwork I see,
On the wind He speaks with majesty,
Though He ruleth over land and sea,
What is that to me?
I will celebrate Nativity,
For it has a place in history,
Sure, He came to set His people free,
What is that to me?
Till by faith I met Him face to face,
And I felt the wonder of His grace,
Then I knew that He was more than just a
God who didn't care,
That lived a way out there and
Now He walks beside me day by day,
Ever watching o'er me lest I stray,
Helping me to find that narrow way,
He's Everything to me.

Thank you so much Tweety! It has been running through my head all day. 🙏
I will go to that site to find the author.
The author is Ralph Carmichael and I put in a nicer version that is singing not organ...nice song...
It is beautiful!
I had a wonderful piano solo version that I loved to play...it was very beautiful...back when music was melodic and words were understandable and had meaning...those were the days, my friend...
we thought they’d never end …
We'd sing and dance forever and a day...
We'd live the life we choose...
We'd fight and never lose....
Those were the days...
Oh yes those were the days...
They were!
I visited a large church today (was much smaller 10 years ago) and the reason I did t continue even then was it doesn’t have a choir, only musicians (local) that sing current songs with lyrics on the screen for the congregation to follow along..
I’m grew up Southern Baptist and at least we had hymnals to use to follow along.
But I guess that isn’t the current way to have song praise :-/
I will say that the energy in that congregation was amazing, and it was very humbling to be among so many people worshiping Christ, even if I didn’t like the music … the sermon was fantastic.
I think the title of the song was “He’s Everything To Me”.
I have been searching but still can’t find it in the internet :-/
Prayers for my laptop please. Some of the keys are being unresponsive and I need the laptop to complete my finals
