We had an enormous antennae, he started building his own Heathkit, and after a few years went top of the line. His "shack" was in the basement, he wanted me to learn, but at 13, I lost interest, shame.
Oh yeah, that's too bad. But you were a kid, so it's understandable. If you ever do remember any of his stories though, I bet a lot of people here would find them interesting. Please post them if you do. Thanks.
The communication hub buildings. At some point moat of the infrastructure still uses land line system and those all have major hub buildings. Blow up a few of those and you could wipe out communication for a large # of people.
Just for comparison…
“ At 9:02 a.m. (14:02 UTC), the Ryder truck, containing over 4,800 pounds (2,200 kg) of ammonium nitrate fertilizer, nitromethane, and diesel fuel mixture, detonated in front of the north side of the nine-story Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. 168 people were killed and hundreds more injured.”
No and Yes. Semi containers generally hold 44,000 lbs or less to be able to operate ion the roads. However certain containers can carry more than 60,000 lbs.
I want to point out something and I don't know if it has been pointed out but the bags show "OXIDIZIN" which is "OXIDIZING" AGENT used in explosives so that there is COMBUSTION (OXYGEN) Explosives need oxygen to combust which makes it more powerful...
I just realized today that the worst would be if they combine the removal of the internet , soc. media communication apps and mobile phones and the introduction of the new pandemic, then we're screwed, we can't share news, tips and medicines between us and we will rely again on government and tv/radio
it could be something - it could be nothing but so far
a farktonne of sh1t for explosives missing . . . .
fda claiming misinformation/ discussing internet shut down,
sat phones for senators "in case" communications go down
W.H.O discussing next pandemic is cyber attacks

My Dad was a dedicated HAM, when he made contact "behind the iron curtain" he would get ecstatic.
Oh, I would love to hear some of those stories. I bet they were great.
Totally

I spoke to King Hussein of Jordan several times, astronauts on Space station and many many Hams around the world. Great hobby!
Tell us more!
First senators get satellite phones and now this
Don't forget the FDA's warning about the internet.
What kind of explosion would knock out the internet?
The communication hub buildings. At some point moat of the infrastructure still uses land line system and those all have major hub buildings. Blow up a few of those and you could wipe out communication for a large # of people.
The hub/datacenter building effected would have to house some major level 2 and level 1 backbone BGP peer circuits.
Maybe the Tennessee explosion was a trial run
Yikes
A Chinese balloon maybe.

Supposedly those were the ingredients, according to the never wrong or politically motivated FBI and ATF.
I wanted to show the difference in quantity …. 60,000lbs. Wow.
Would a semi truck hold that much…
No and Yes. Semi containers generally hold 44,000 lbs or less to be able to operate ion the roads. However certain containers can carry more than 60,000 lbs.
The trucks that carry over 60,000 lbs likely have two trailers attached to them.
Facts
Most likely it could. Most 53 ft trailers can take 65k of payload.
More so of someone doesnt care about staying legal in regards to GVW laws.

We use the printed medium.
Please let them rot.
They probably had hams for emergency comms. Then they vaxxed them. )-; Average ham age is over 50.
Nellie Ohr has her HAM license.
Has anyone heard of confirmation of any Senator who said they have received one. So far everyone has said they did not know about it
Who knows? Maybe all this is fear-mongering. At the very least, prayer should be employed so that these things don't happen.
"Made in Ukraine" (on the bags in OP's photo/the referenced tweet).
Get READY to LOCK & LOAD...goto STANDBY POSITION!!!

If such a thing were to happen-, I'd like to think that there are rightist SW stations that would be on the air, letting us know what's going on.
And why only 50 Senators get SAT phones? All Democrats ya think? Maybe they just happen to be beta testers? Yeah, right.
I was thinking they would do something right after election is called. Why do it now?
Desperation.
