"Ukraine's leaders must guard against a possible attack led by Yevgeny Prigozhin launched at Kyiv from Belarus, General Lord Richard Dannatt tells Trevor Phillips on Sky News.
"The fact that he's gone to Belarus is a matter of some concern," said the former British Army chief of general staff.
If he has "kept an effective fighting force around him then he presents a threat again to the Ukrainian flank closest to Kyiv", where the war began, he said.
Lord Dannatt said it "is quite possible" that Russia may use the Wagner Group to try and take Kyiv again.
"The aftershocks of yesterday will reverberate for quite some time."
Nonetheless, there were no immediate "winners" from "yesterday's fiasco", he said.
"Putin is definitely much diminished. The Russian military... is clearly in some disarray," said Lord Dannatt."

So the previous days' "reporting" of a coup against Russia was a ruse??!! Hahaha, yes, that sounds very plausible. Wagner attempting an encirclement of Kiev again while possible more than likely I think they are preparing for the possibility that NATO/Poles enter from the west soon. That is why Russian troops are still in Belarus.

Rostov-on-Don is almost 1000km from Kiev, did Wagner magically teleport overnight and none of NATO saw it coming?
Clandestine is also stating that they are now near Kiev and he’s typically very solid. Maybe Wagner (or the bulk of it) was never really in RUS and it was all staged.

I don't think that Prigozhin moved all his 25,000 or so troops to Rostov-on-Don. I have to say, it would have been a good ploy to move, say, 1,000 to Rostov and 24,000 to Belarus while people were looking elsewhere.
That is almost as good as the idea that the CIA were behind the whole thing to topple Putin.

Let us start with these facts:
The Wagner Group was established by Russian intelligence organizations and funded by the Russian Government. Many in the West mistakenly believe that Prigozhin has deep pockets and is paying Wagner’s bills and, despite having ZERO military experience, is the commander of the outfit. As the Russians say, NYET! Russia is considered by the U.S. and the rest of NATO as a dictatorship. Prigozhin has been shooting his mouth off for months spouting threats against the Russian military and, indirectly, at Putin but has suffered no arrest or sanction. Does this mean Russia is not a dictatorship? Prigozhin ostensibly launched the coup, according to his own words on Friday, because the Russian MOD hit an encampment of Wagner troops training for war with missiles, shells and rockets. But the alleged video of the incident showed no casualties. The Russian Government waited about 12 hours before sending police/military forces to the Wagner Group headquarters in St. Petersburg. Little sense of urgency. Prigozhin reportedly ordered a column of Wagner troops to go from Rostov on Don to Moscow to dethrone Shoigu and maybe General Gerasimov. Take a look at the map. That is a distance of almost 1200 kilometers. How was that column of trucks and tanks supposed to refuel and cover that distance in less than 20 hours?"

What if the convoys we were told was Wagner was really the Russian equivalent of our National Guard? Just spitballing, but I remember reading somewhere the Wagner markings were removed so people couldn’t tell the difference.
