I was wondering; since Big Mike is probably playing out their part in this movie, was this to draw attention to their college attendance and records? I did a quick image search and only found a couple photos of Michelle in college.
We know Barrie's college career was fabricated, I figure that Big Mike's had to be also since the name and sex change would blow up their narrative. I remember long ago how Big Mike decided against renewing his law license, and nobody in the press seemed to care.

This may or may not be widespread knowledge around here, but it put a whole new angle on “Rhodes Scholars” when I looked up Cecil Rhodes and what his goals were - staunch British nationalist who wanted to pull former territories back into the empire.

I am reminded of affirmative action students in my undergrad nursing program. They were typical entitled folks: entering large lecture halls late as a group, disrupting everything, making a scene. One girl actually asked me if I made good grades because my daddy promised me a new car! I told her that I studied hard because I thought someone's life might depend on my knowledge. Not sure she understood or cared.

When affirmative action came, which was objectively a failure, yes, it did afford minorities an opportunity that they didn't have before. Maybe "generations" were excluded before, sure. Fine.
