He'll either be blocked by DOJ (ongoing investigation), will ignore it with no consequence, or at the very worse, "I don't recall." This is literally nothing and anyone getting excited has not been paying attention the last three years.

I'll take any win at this point. A subpoena that goes blatantly ignored or protected against by the government will just be another line item to add in the long list of corruption that can be shown to people.
If the subpoena was from Matt Gaetz I'd have some hope. But it's McCarthy so it is very hard to be optimistic.
I believe all subpoenas have to be submitted to, and issued by, the Speaker of the House. So the subpoena originated from Matt Gaetz, but is officially issued by the Speaker. I could be wrong, but that is how I have always understood the process.
