You ever wake up some mornings and think, "Am I one of the 'left behind'? Could I have missed the rapture?"

Be right with the LORD and don't worry about it! Love GOD with all your heart and your Soul, Love your neighbor as yourself, you'll make the Rapture!
Or die trying!
My most logical reason I don’t believe in rapture is it seems too easy. Look at what Paul and the disciples and others went through and we think we will magically be whisked away? Doubtful.
Now on the other hand I actually don’t think we are anywhere near the end of the world even as crazy as things are.
some people are just chronically wrong...
I never have bought off on the Pre-Trib Rapture!
Spiritual FOMO, don't leave me daddy!
How traumatic
Actually, after listening to a video on the subject and thinking about it, I think it is the reverse of what we have been taught. I think it is the bad people that disappear and they don’t go to heaven. If it was the way we have been taught, then it would be the end of God’s efforts with the human race. The history with God is the renewal of the human race, like with the flood. I think we are going through a renewal period right now.
Read 1 Thes 4 and 5. There you will read about the rapture and the Day of the Lord that comes upon evildoers.
It's better to learn and know God's Word, so you have proper discernment when you listen to videos.
I don’t think we’re going through a renewal yet, I think we’re at the reset point, which comes in cycles for us. And I mean like 10,000 year cycles or more. Meaning, we start from scratch over and over again because we are here to learn and how we reset is up to us. I don’t think so many of us have actually been so aware and enlightened as to who we really are (spiritual beings who have ascended eons ago and are one with God), where we came from (completely other dimension, and a place called heaven where everything is at the speed of thought), and why (to learn things we can’t possibly learn in a perfect place of peace and love like heaven), and what we’re doing here (Learning to love one another apart from God, individual lessons we have chosen to work on), than in any other point in history that we are aware of.
Yes, you get it.
You must believe The Gospel in order to be included in the Rapture.
1Corinthians 15:1-4 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
Sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up and check GAW to see if I missed it!
I do too🐸 especially when Q was still posting, woke up every night around 3 to check voat.

Don't know if OP is joking or not, but I've actually had that happen a couple of times when I was a younger Christian.
Lmfao tippy top kekkity
I do, but then I hear some traffic going past on the road outside and know it hasn't happened.
If you're asking yourself this question, it raised another question - have you studied the book of revelations about how many horrific things happen before the last trumpet sounds? 1st trumpet has not sounded . . . yet
I always thought the lyric was "heaven left me out", but i realized today its actually "heaven lift me up"
Our faith holds the door open for everyone when the time comes. Ill gladly turn the lights off if im the last one thru.
So hear me out. What if we are in purgatory(I can’t spell it)?
Im not even catholic but I mean if we are completely honest a lot of life is really not great, and arguably hellish. Mean people, brutal heartbreaks, suffering everywhere, selfishness is innate, and evil people run the world. How many days go by where nothing bad happens even in your own small world?
I’m not saying I believe this but I am saying it’s an interesting idea.
I think it’s more likely we will enter a time of peace before some final tribulation that likely won’t be in our lifetime.
I also wonder if all the old lost civilizations go through the same thing. Basically it’s a multi thousand year cycle that happens so it isn’t just one “end of the world”

I think that’s exactly what we do here. I think we’ve been at this precipice and at this reset point many times. What happens next is up to us. Knowledge and ascension to a higher level of existence, or start over. The Earth is alive, she has a soul, and all it would take for her to do that is to shrug us all off in the form of a pole shift. It would be over in half a day, humanity, erased, the earth cleansed of evil for another round of “learning lessons in this dimension to help us be better souls in heaven.”
Is there a name for this ideology? I’ve been seeing images of this for a while, you’ve described it beautifully
The Truth? :) that’s the only only thing I can think to call it. What images are you seeing?
Purgatory seems to be a popular concept, but is unfortunately completely unsupported by scripture, especially since it advocates works-based salvation.
You are correct that the world can be quite hellish. But the current magnitude of evil and suffering in this world just goes to show how much worse the Tribulation and hell will be. The evils of this current world are at least somewhat restrained by the presence of the church and the grace of God.
The only previous/lost civilizations are whatever ones existed before Noah's Flood. That and the cities that were built before the rising sea level claimed them at the end of the post-Flood ice age.
yes, especially after having a TBI a few months before the 2016 election. spend a lot of time convincing myself I’m not in purgatory…🥸
I feel like all those “died suddenly”s are being raptured.
I wouldn’t want to go someplace that would let someone like ME in!
There’s no rapture, bro.
Sure do Fren
Lol, anyone remember that episode of Six Feet Under where the guy dies because he thinks the rapture is happening (walks into traffic I think?), but it was really just helium filled inflatable dolls that got loose from a truck? Hehe🐸
Maybe we're all dead.
New International Version Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. There is only 2 resurrections, I've known sense 1974 there will be no pretribulation resurrection & can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
Read 1 Thess. 4:16-17. The dead in Christ rise first, then the living in the Rapture. That is the first resurrection, and it happens before the Tribulation. The Tribulation is the wrath of God poured out on the earth (Rev. 6), and Paul wrote several times that we are delivered from the wrath of God which is to come.
Is the church not the Bride of Christ? If so, what groom would say to his bride: “I’m going to marry you, but first I will subject you to my wrath. You know, the wrath I already paid the price to save you from.”?
The second resurrection is after the millennial reign, when all the unbelievers from every time period are brought before the great white throne and judged (Rev. 20).
Or the rapture happened before Isreal was destroyed during the third Jewish-Roman war.
No, because the rapture is non Biblical hog wash.
Isn’t the rapture some made up thing that has no biblical origin
The term "rapture" is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, but it comes from a Latin word that means "a carrying off, a transport, or a snatching away." The Bible clearly teaches about the concept of the "carrying off" or the rapture of the church.
During the rapture, God will "snatch away" all believers from the earth, in order to prepare for His righteous judgment which will be poured out on the earth during the tribulation period. This event is primarily described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50–54. God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers who will also receive glorified bodies.
The Bible says, "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever" (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
If your Bible was written in Latin it would have the term rapturo in it, so i would argue that the term rapture is specifically in the bible.
Rapture = rapturo = harpazo = catching up or snatching away
Rapture is just a transliteration of the latin term.
Just because a word isn't English doesn't mean its not in the bible.
What you mention is the earth being ripe for harvest in the book of revelation
Are you referring to Rev. 14:15? That passage has little in common with 1 Thess. 4:16-17; they describe two separate events.
The church gets raptured out between Rev. 3 and 4 and doesn’t appear again until Christ come to earth in chapter 19 to set up His kingdom.
800 centuries ago, their bodily fluids include the birth of half-breeds. For the fundamental truth self-determination of the cosmos, for dark is the suede that mows like a harvest.
No
The body must die for the soul to ascend. Beam me up Scotty rapture is relatively new interpretation of the term, began in the early 1800s in America.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
The Rapture of both living and dead saints is not a new concept, it is exactly what the Bible teaches. Church fathers as early as Iraneus taught the same thing.
Bible scholars, can you help clarify this for me?
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says:
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
Q: Does this mean that the souls of the people who have died and are buried anytime in the past have not actually gone to heaven or hell? Are they just put in suspended animation or left trapped in their bodies?
Q: Do their dead bodies lie there and rot until God comes to call for them and then will he restore that particular body and rise that up sometime in the next thousand years?
Q: What about the souls that were cremated? What about those whose body was mutilated or destroyed or scattered to the winds? Is the soul trapped on earth forever until God returns?
Q: And then - only those souls who've met God's criteria will be retrieved?
& 2. No, once you die your soul travels to either heaven or hell, see Jesus' story of Lazarus and the rich man. You are fully conscious, though how this can be without a body is unknown. When the dead in Christ rise first, that means their souls are reunited with their physical bodies, which have put in in-corruption and immortality per 1 Cor. 15:52-54. The same thing will happen to unbelievers, at judgment day their bodies will be reunited with their souls, only for both to be cast into the lake of fire.
The Bible is silent on this issue, at least for unbelievers. Believers will have their physical bodies reassembled and made perfect. What happens to an unbeliever's body during/after judgment day is unknown; I guess we'll have to wait until we see it for ourselves.
Not sure what you mean by meeting God's criteria. The only criteria for salvation is accepting Jesus Christ as the Son of God and your Savior. You can't do good works to pay off your sin. Christ has already paid for your sins on your behalf, but just as you can accept or reject a gift that someone gives you, you can accept or reject Christ's payment for your sin, with the appropriate consequences for each choice.
Hope this helps. Read the Bible as much as you can: the more you read it, the better you can understand it.
Really? I believe ALL religions were created by the deep state thousands of years ago to control us, this is a post really trying to stretch things.
Nope. Bible says Speaking in tongues is your spirit bearing witness with God that you are His.
Where are you getting this from? The main instance of speaking in tongues (known human languages, not made up “angelic” languages) happened at Pentecost and again during the salvation of Cornelius’ house. That leaves dozens of instances in Acts alone if people getting saved without explicit mention of speaking in tongues.
Speaking in tongues was a rare miracle designed to rapidly spread the gospel in the early church and confirm the authenticity of the apostles as direct witnesses of Christ. No miracle or supernatural gift is required as evidence of having the Spirit. All believers get the Holy Spirit immediately upon salvation.
At the end of the Tribulation, Christ comes back with His church to set up His kingdom, which will rule for a thousand years.
So the Christian gets the best of both worlds: we get to avoid the Tribulation and come back to rebuild.
This is why we were chosen IMHO, to rebuild the world after the Lords burning rain has finished wiping the filth from his good green earth.
Yup. We’re not going anywhere. In the twinkling in an eye is about a shift in perception.
That v for vendetta BULLOCKS moment when everyone turned the TV off and went outside. Game over. In the movie WAR GAME. What happens? The only winning move is to not play.
