I imagine what would happen is there would end up being only one major contractor who works with the government that ends up being completely under cabal control. They would aim to control the committee that has power over such investigations in order to protect the corrupt ones they want to keep in power, and the ones they want to drag through bureaucratic hell.

We need a "Civillian Oversite Compliance Keepers" as well. There needs to be a unit of civilians to watch over and hold accountable tangent to government.
I wish we the people could send representatives down there to D.C. to make laws and control the spending of our money and stuff. We could insist that only civilians are elected to go.
The whole point of sending one person to DC was back then that one person can carry everyone's word.
Now-a-days we have the internet and no issue of mass communication. Congress is a relic that needs to go. We can set up a new system where everyone's voices are heard.

I understand mob rule is a thing, but there are ways around that. I would give each person's vote an individual weight. Some people's vote should be worth more than anothers. For example if you receive government assistance, your vote is not worth a lot.

I'm OK with this except the part of auditing family members. The family member didn't sign up for the extra scrutiny.
First the IRS would need to not be funded by big gubermint as it mean that they are inherently biased in favor of increased government spending.
The only way this is possible is with Bitcoin. When the ledger is public, it can be audited by anyone, anytime, anywhere.
