I was arguing with an Aussie shitlib that did have a good point. He said ev is the only fuel type that allows him to generate his own fuel (via solar) which makes him energy independent and therefore the ability to freely live anywhere he wants apparently is out in the middle of nowhere. He does have a point.
The point is on his head. If he wishes to remain energy independent he has an invisible leash by way of a 100-150 mile range around his house. Anything outside of that and he will have to charge somewhere else.
