He also showed there is a lot more power in the Presidency than we’ve been led to believe. Other Republican Presidents would have acted like there was nothing they could do when the Dems refused to build the wall. The Uniparty hast to hate that too.

At the very least we would have had Ted Cruz as President. There was no way Hillary would have won the 2016 election, except against Jeb Bush.
Jeb would have cruised to the nomination if it wasn't for Trump. He was the RNC's next choice after classics like McCain and Romney. They weren't all that crazy over supporting Cruz. They were more enthusiastic supporting lame ass candidates like John Kasich after they realized Low Energy Jeb was done for.
