I bet they all do it now.
Bet those Harvard students are given guidelines on plagiarism and how to avoid it (e.g. APA, MLA, IEEE). Wouldn’t surprise me though if it was racist to apply those standards to non-white students.

I had seven words that were in the exact same order as something someone else had written years ago that id never seen. Teacher accused me of plagiarization. The words were "In 1862 the Civil War began with".

In 1979 my supervisor at the Macdonalds i worked at was a Harvard grad. He said he wasted four years he could have been building his macdonalds career. 45 years later he now owns 24 locations.
