My sister is in risk management for a major university and she gets FEMA training. Part of what he is saying is true, at least in my sisters world. She receives training not published online. Health departments receive additional training not online. These classes are in person, usually at a place of meeting and multiple locations. There was a big conference last year that risk management officials went to and lots of “situations” discussed. Regardless my sister isn’t the first person I would trust with information as it is given to her through these channels, she called me a month before “Covid” was announced and told me to buy 3 months worth of food and supplies because a virus was coming, said the university was going to be barracks for ng and army. Said she was told they would be sending the vax to homes and we wouldn’t be allowed to leave until this point. They took inventory of all staff and people in household so they would have correct amount of vax available. She was on priority list as first responder with numerous certs… So in hindsight, what she was told was MAJOR psychological mind fucks. There were multiple people from DOD there as well that conveyed this info. But good news was I already had 3 months of toilet paper stocked before everyone went crazy over toilet paper….
I think what she was told was the DS plan that DJT cut off with Operation Warp Speed. It wasn’t misinformation, it was correctly their plan but you know….moves and countermoves so that’s not what turned out.

I have cooked fourteen year old rice a roni and it tasted just the same as if it were fourteen day old. Seasoning packet needed extra water but that was it.
It's all canned, except the bacon which I chuck into the freezer in its original package. The canned meat all came from Aldi, Costco, or Walmart. I try to eat a can or two of that a week just to make sure I never have anything more than about 6 years old. Due to cost reasons I only increased my storage of that to a year. I can't determine any taste degradation at 6 years. The oldest frozen bacon I ever ate was 4 years, but the taste and texture was still good.
I did can the wheat and rice myself, because I only eat basmati rice due to the lower glycemic index and the wheat I get an organic variety from Oregon due to pesticide and GMO concerns. Yes, the manual canner is not cheap. I also use oxygen absorbers. Mylar bags are quite cost and labor effective, but I enjoy not having to worry about mice or rats, and I think long term the cans are a better oxygen barrier, so cans it is.
Due to the added cost of cans and oxygen absorbers I don't regularly eat the food I can except once a year to verify my process works and is keeping things fresh and bug free. Canned in that way I have zero doubts it will last 25 years or more. My oldest self-canned items are 6 years old now.

The gas stations themselves have cameras all over so it would be noticeable if someone tried to lift the metal plate to access the underground fuel tank. Going upstream in the supply chain, the trucks have locked access ports on their tanks, and the drivers had to jump through hoops to get those jobs. Besides getting a CDL, the driver also had to get a Haz Mat endorsement (and Tank endorsement), which these days requires taking a separate class, passing the knowledge test, and passing a federal screening to make sure he’s not a terrorism threat. After going through that to get a decent paying job, the driver would be less likely to risk it and harder to buy off. Besides, his company monitors him. The earlier link in the supply chain is the petroleum company’s depot that fills the trucks, but that has even tighter security than the gas stations. And what would all this risk of getting caught be for? To disable some cars that can be traced to the same gas station? It would be less risky to the vandals to go to lightly monitored parking lots and pour sugar into gas tanks and stuff bananas into tail pipes.

While this is 100% true, there is far less security that most people think. A lot of people still think TSA goons are armed law enforcement. Nope - they aren't armed* and they aren't law enforcement. There are, however Federal Air Marshals that are now part of TSA so those plainclothes people *are in fact armed.
As far as more security - I wouldn't count the regular TSA people since there really should be security to protect us from them molesting and stealing from us. There are local law enforcement usually onsite, which is probably more than in an average mall, and Air Marshals can patrol or help out in between their flights.

I don't think their goal is to attack things that the government is perceived as being responsible for protecting. So, mall shooting is fine because mall security is the mall's problem. Airport security the government is responsible for.
So why school shooting then? The goal with those, to the extent the government is involved, is to drive outrage to get guns banned or restricted. But I actually think we have a lot of mentally ill kids with crappy parents, so most of those shootings are just the result of that, just like the flash mob store robberies and big fights of kids.

Hitting malls would make sense because the mall is considered a gun free zone. The FBI has always targeted gun free zones in the past.
It has a higher chance of yielding more deaths and less risk of a narrative shifting outcome. If some would be mass shooter manages to get a couple shots off and doesn't kill anyone before they get ventilated by a legal concealed carry holder they don't get the narrative they wanted.
Who goes to malls anymore?
The malls here have re-invented themselves by turning abandoned Sears or other big department store anchors that have left into entertainment complexes with a movie theater and go carts and a bunch of chain restaurants (often times these dining places are built with separate entrances only accessible from the outside of the mall or even in the parking lot to make them standalone). So while the mall itself has low traffic inside and the food court is 2/3 empty and about 1/3 of the inner mall storefronts are empty, the parking lots are full from the people eating or recreating.
The new thing I'm seeing is where they'll knock down a 200,000 square foot Boston store and then build 700 apartments or condos in its place.

For about the same price as a small Jackery battery you could get a small 1200 watt generator which will deliver more power for a longer period of time and is a whole lot easier to keep producing power than a battery in a power outage. Most people probably have at least 5 gallons of gas sitting in their gas tank they can use in an emergency.

The nuclear ones, to some extent. The Nuclear Energy Institute claims nearly 9,000 "well-armed and highly trained" security officers guard them,. There are 54 commercially operating nuclear power plants, which means an average of 166 per plant. However, they there are 168 hours a week, so at 40 hours per person per week it takes 4.2 people just to have 1 person always available and that isn't considering vacations, so in practice they will have less than 40 people available at any time.
They would have to import their own army to pull this off. I doubt that could happen.
