My reading comprehension was good, but I read slowly. Vision has been poor all my life. Maybe I would read 50-100 pages in a good book over the course of a day. Read Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven, Robert Heinlein, etc... Fantasy would be JRR Tolkien, George RR Martin, Raymond Feist, Anne McCaffrey, Robbin Hobbs, etc...
The first couple Foundation books were a good read. I could tell by the last couple that Asimov was just phoning it in and trying to hit a word count tho

He explains the right angles in the granite inside the sarcophagus that are nearly perfect and couldn’t have been made with the “tools” of the time period. And there’s a shaft that had chemical (maybe lime?) residue that would indicate it was used as a power plant. Once you read the actual math and science behind it, it makes sense that the pyramids had a much different purpose than we’ve been told. Did you know there are pyramids around the world, all on meridians. I forget how many but they’re in every country. It would make much more sense that the people were willing to build so many enormous structures for energy instead of burial tombs. Some so overgrown that people have thought they were mountains. (Bosnia, Mexico). I love and always have loved archeology. Definitely getting his recent book!
