Actor, comedian, philosopher, and all-around-interesting dude Russell Brand has been publicly moving towards professing his faith in Christ for some time now.
I admire his desire to change for the better.

Perhaps you are not really aware of Brand's journey? And his activities in recent years?
If he shares his journey with a few million in his audience, going through or sharing his transformation together with them, how is that anything other than consistent?
He has def. gone through a transformation, and that's not just his Christian / faith journey. Starting out definitely leftish-centrist in his political outlook, he has awakened like many and gone through a process, very publicly, of recognizing Trump, recognizing the evil of the Cabal, and so many other key points of the Great Awakening.
Taking the plunge is a big deal, so why should he suddenly cut his entire following and audience out of the picture for this event/milestone?
In my case, I come from a deep faith background, but was raised in a family that essentially became exactly what would have been Brand's traditional base: leftist, anti or non-religious, wokish and wary of the foibles on the right: corporatism, hawkish warmongering, etc.
I know how amazing it has been watching Brand wake up and reach an audience that DJT or almost everyone on 'the right' or conservative' could never reach. The fact that he has undergone personal transformation both externally in his awareness and internally (spiritually) is very significant from my view, knowing how hard it is to reach those in the camp he originally had has his audience.
FWIW, I think your take is extremely ungenerous.

I think he got into the orbit of some very dark people when he married Katy Perry and “saw how the sausage was made” (so to speak). The marriage failed quite quickly and he walked away and went quite low key (for him). He then settled down with a wife and children and his perspective does seem to have changed a lot from his left of Centre hedonism type persona. Only he knows what’s in his heart but I wonder if what and who he encountered while with Perry shocked him so much it forced a total reboot of his beliefs

It seems pretty clear that you do, as you've twice expressed the perspective that negatively attaches to a category rather than seeing the human being behind it.
A negative attachment is still an attachment, and is seems you're pretty attached to the concept of 'celebrity'.
I almost did that when I was baptized in a river, by folks I’ve never met before. I was nervous and didn’t want to call family or friends. Except God had different plans. I felt the weight of my decision making and could feel I was wrong in doing so. So I made the first call, then the second. Next thing I know I had family and friends coming from everywhere. It’s not just about the person. Getting baptized can spark something deep into another one’s soul. This is something that should be seen, everyday by people. Our love for Christ should never be a private thing. Show the world how you feel, if you want to. Others want what we have. They sometime just need to see it. And feel that cool water on their feet.
I’d walk hand and hand with anyone in this world, down to the river. And I mean anyone.

That's what a normal person does, yes. If you have a platform and a modicum of celebrity and you are trying to change opinions, why not talk about it a lot? At least he's converting to Christianity and not spewing Satanic lyrics while flying around on a fucking jet telling people to stop polluting the world.
His whole world is having a platform. The problem with conservatives is that we haven't spent decades using those platforms to effect change.
By using his platform, he is doing just that. He isn't doing it quietly, he isn't doing it privately. He is standing up and inviting others to follow him, that it is okay, that they are not alone no matter what the other side tries to say.
If we don't ever let people change for the better and improve themselves, and if we don't allow them to carry others with them, then we may as well give up now because we will not win with the same strategies that have been losing this country and our values for years.
Aside from the war room, he is the only other podcast. I listen to daily. He has grown so much since his… Chaotic youth. He’s married with children. He has been on a spiritual journey for five years at least. He is not doing this for attention. Just check out his podcast and you will hear it right from his mouth. We should celebrate anyone that turns to the Lord.
If anyone had told me that I would be watching his Rumble stream daily a year ago I would have called them insane. I have been watching every show for the last couple of months and find him to be doing one of the most interesting streams of any out there. His show is a great way to Red Pill liberal Normies or any Normie for that matter.
That is, I think, the best part of his schtick: that he is a "reformed Commie", so what he says is difficult for Commies to refute, or at very least carries more weight for the fence-sitters.
But we watch carefully.

Believers are instructed to Occupy until he returns. Occupy is a military term. The Kingdom of Heaven is near you. We move as the Holy Spirit leads. Jesuit teaching has disarmed Christianity into thinking that Christ is outside of people. I intend to use the sword GOD gave me. How about you? Jesus is Lord.

Fully Agree. I haven't tuned in to Brand for a while now, but his journey and transformation, and his angle on so many aspects of the Great Awakening, are an amazing bridge for a large segment of the population who might otherwise be very hard to reach.
Plus he’s sharp as a tack and witty as hell.
I’m really happy if he is truly going to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Baptism is just the icing on the cake. I’m praying that this is genuine, and that he has a true awakening of his soul, knowing Christ. It’s been interesting to watch his journey - somewhat of something like Jordan Peterson. The intellectual mind dying to self, and coming into contact with your spirit, knowing Christ died for your sins. 👏👏👏

Baptism means nothing, as long as you follow Christian ethics and you believe in God you are a Christian.
