It was painful to watch this guy try to debunk what would be a top secret mission, of which he had no information about… by using Wikipedia. I don’t know if this attempted nuke strike really happened or not, but it’s pretty clear this guy is out of his league.

Also, his assumption that they can only drop the nuke is ridiculous. It would be a warhead on a missile that could be shot to the desired height/location for the blast.

Ryan is talking about this tweet:

https://twitter.com/RealPepeEscobar/status/1781652011173253524

Israel initially chose to respond with extreme force. An F-35 loaded with a nuclear bomb was sent east over Jordan. The mission: cause a high-altitude detonation over Iran that would provoke a surge in the high-capacity power lines, crippling Iran's electric grid, as well as disabling all electronic devices. An EMP attack. However... As the Israeli F-35 was leaving Jordanian airspace it was shot down by the Russian Air Force. Hence the publicised version of the Israeli counter response was such a travesty. In the end, all sides decided not to publicise the real news - to de-escalate what could well turn into WWIII.

So, how did they know?

I doubt the shoot down and the aircraft would not be flying alone. It would also need refueling on the way in and the way out. If the F-35 were to do an EMP type attack, then it would likely do an old fashioned over the shoulder toss.

What Really Happened When Israel Attacked Iran - Revealing Analysis with solid Sources 🤔💭 Theory 😲💡 posted 5 days ago by OregonAngel2 +31 / -1

This sounds pretty wild, but if you look into the details it ends up being the only reasonable explanation of what actually happened during the Israeli attack on Iran, and furthermore it explains major strange military and political events that have happened since then.

Speaker Johnson's betrayal, Israel's inexplicable wimpy military response, widespread sudden finding of weapons for Ukraine... they all make sense given all the facts.

Let's go through this piece by piece in order:

Netanyahu calls for an EMP attack on Iran:

On April 1st the Israelis attacked a consulate in Syria killing upper level Iranian military officers and others. Two weeks later the Iranians attacked Israel on 14 April.

The next day, April 15th, "Netanyahu instructed the army to propose targets in Iran, attacks on which would “send a signal”, but without casualties" – Washington Post https://t.me/European_dissident/51628

How do you cause damage but not have casualties? There is only one clear way: An EMP missile also known as an electromagnetic pulse weapon.

Understand all the points but there are major issues with the disinformation Pepe Escobar was fed by his Asian source. Then again, there are also major issues with the official account as well.

  1. No way a Russian Jet or missile from Syria downed an Israeli F35 over Jordan or Iraq with a nuke on it without it getting out or without the US or Israel responding against the Russian asset that launched the attack. Also Highly unlikely Russia could have successfully targeted the highly defensible F35 so far from their own airbase & Area of Operations and struck the only F35 in the strike force that carried the Nuke.

  2. If a live nuke (or for that matter the F35 airframe itself) was lost in such an incident in Jordan or Iraq there would have been a massive NEST team being sent in to recover it with full air cover and likely substantial ground equipment assets. No way you cover that up completely without such an effort leaking,

  3. A high level nuke to cause an EMP from an F35 is highly unlikely. Much more likely a low level US made CHAMP EMP missile would be used for this purpose instead, but the CHAMP missile cannot be carried internally on the F35. Then again, the Rampage Missile Israel reportedly used to take out the S-300 radar at the airbase in Iran is also reportedly too large to be carried internally on the F35 as well poking a big old hole in the mostly accepted account of events as well.

  4. If either the Rampage missile or the CHAMP missile were carried externally on the F35, it is unlikely the F35 would have been able to penetrate Iranian air defenses so deeply without being detected and both missiles in their standard configuration reportedly lack the range to reach the Iranian Airbase if launched from Iraqi airspace. There is also the issue that if either missile were used, Iran would be displaying the missile debris showing the west they would be reverse engineering the technology to humiliate the west.

  5. Airspace of most countries in area was denied to US & Israel for purposes of a counterattack against Iran & Biden refused to support an Israeli Counterattack against Iran as well. An Israeli F35 couldn't reach Iran without refueling support from the US or UAE over Iraq. Unless a B2 was used for refueling for the airstrike, there would be no hiding the refueling from radar so even the official story of the airstrike is sketchy. There were reports of tankers loitering over Iraq that night that eventually exfiltrated to the UAE.

  6. Pepe was probably fed disinformation on purpose to discredit him. It also may have been done to hide the true nature of the attack on the s-300 air defense battery at the airfield in Iran.

  7. I'm not sure we will ever know what really happened with regard to this attack without more info about the attack coming out in the future, but it may have been accomplished by alternate means or for all we know, may not have happened at all.

  8. Very strange everyone has been so quiet about the exact details of the attack and it suggests that the details we have been told cannot be relied upon without further disclosure..

If you read the article you will see that it wasn't actually a nuke. There are other ways to cause an EMP without a nuke.

See https://www.dagnyintel.com/post/what-really-happened-when-israel-attacked-iran and https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13325343/US-Air-Force-develops-missiles-obliterate-Iran-nuclear-facilities.html

Read it, well aware of it. Was commenting based on Pepe Escobar's reporting in op which defines the scenario as a high altitude nuke EMP. Even said in my post the CHAMP low level directional EMP missile would be a better choice than Pepe Escobar's scenario.

Agree on reported possible electronic vulnerabilities of F35. Believe this was at least partly if not entirely mitigated by Trump during his first term when he grounded the entire fleet to replace the chips used in the F35 with chips made in Israel. F35 was a boondoggle that needed to be straightened out and Trump took steps to address it. How effective it was remains to be seen n combat.

This is partly why I remain doubtful of the official narrative of the Israeli reprisal Iranian airfield attack. No way Israel risks such high value assets striking so deeply into Iranian territory just to take out an S-300 Anti-Aircraft system without striking a primary objective, A Champ EMP attack on Nuclear sites makes much more sense to justify the risk.

If you are only going to take out an S-300, use a long range missile or a space based DEW. It just doesn't justify the risk to F35 reputation & aircrew if the plane is shot down by Iran for so little reward. Doesn't make sense. Narrative stinks & it is almost like Pepe Escobar's leak was designed to make the Semi Official Narrative more believable in comparison to what he put out..

Russia has been researching charge cluster/EVO's since the 1940's, far in advance of everyone else. I don't know what they have now (they don't tell me) but I did hear of a weapon they used in Syria/Kurdistan, an electric bomb.

This gives everyone within range a fatal heart attack if they have any metal on them, even tooth fillings. It was said that it works by turning electrons into EM radiation, but who knows?

– tpat591 1 point 2 years ago +1 / -0

Difficult to say without reliable news reporting on the matter and there has been precious little of that with all the wildly overblown massive reprisal strike by Israel fake narrative reporting from the very beginning that fizzled into nothingness. Made me believe the reports of an attack were just a psyop at first blush if it weren't for Satellite photos of the site showing battle damage to the S-300 Radar & a launcher at the military airbase at Isfahan (approx 1,000km from Baghdad, Iraq)(900km from border?). Even the F35 with a 1,500km range would have needed drop tanks to complete the round trip strike with close in weapons & avoid detection (unless it was launched from Basra or Saudi Arabia - who also denied use of their airspace for an Israeli counterattack)..

The closest we have to an official version of the attack is this https://youtu.be/eIElFfUcgb0.

Per Larry Johnson, https://sonar21.com/sy-offers-new-version-of-israels-strike-on-iran-and-an-update-from-ukraine/ the Rampage missile is too large to be carried internally on the F35 and only has an operational range of 150-250km. Same can be said of the US CHAMP directional EMP missile. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-electronics_High_Power_Microwave_Advanced_Missile_Project

(The CHAMP missile's range could be extended out to 1,000-1.200km using an Extreme range JASSM-ER cruise stealth missile. If this was carried externally and launched close to the airbase protecting Iranian nuclear sites while taking out the S-300 Air Defense System it might be possible to fry the electronics of the nuke sites and exfiltrate the missile to Iraqi airspace after the deed was done for recovery. This would have the desired effect of establishing deterrence in a big way and the Iranians could never admit the humiliation they suffered at the hands of Israel if they were successful in bricking the electronic equipment at the Nuclear Sites)

I never saw the debris from a US or Israeli missile on Twitter or the news being shown off by Iranian civilians, military, or government officials. Almost enough to make me believe the damage may have been inflicted by a satellite based directed energy weapon or the evidence was fabricated to placate the Israeli public's lust for revenge.

As I said before, without better information reported about what really happened during the strike, we may never know what really occurred...All this is just speculation as it is all we have and it appears all involved are content to keep it that way for the time being at least.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Vapourface 2 points 2 years ago +2 / -0

Nuke must be armed and the correct firing sequence is required for correct detonation. If you blow up a nuke you just scatter the fuel. Often, to get the correct detonation the fuel is brought together in two or more parts and then an exploding casing is used to crush the fuel into a small space, the casing is arranged so there are segments that have different reaction times to a signal, so the signal must be a sequence in the correct order and timing that only the genuine firing mechanism can deliver - something "like" that.
