I wouldn’t be in too big of a hurry to be celebrating the collapse of America. Far too many food chain businesses going under right now, and I don’t think it’s because they banned books. 🤷♀️ it’s all by design. They wanted to destroy our way of life.
Cracker Barrel is big business. The problem is that to many small businesses are going under and that is by design. Regulations discourage the creation of small businesses and put existing ones out of business. Results are you are left with no choice but big business. Big business equals less choice and total control.
Ding ding ding
And that’s what part of the Covid restrictions were about. Closing down all the mom and Pop shops so people wouldn’t have options.
What’s the difference of standing in line at Walmart or standing in line at a mom and pop shop. Absolutely nothing. Actually, going to a Walmart you would be in contact with more people… So according to their rules, you’d be more likely to get Covid
Boy.. I can't agree more. How many celebrated the downfall of Budweiser? Yea, I get it.... The upper management is woke.... But we should understand that we can't celebrate putting all American businesses out of business...
Beer probably won’t kill you unless you are an alcoholic. I can’t say the same about the food industry in America. These chain restaurants like Cracker Barrel, Olive Garden, Outback etc is just a step above fast food. It’s all good unhealthy oils, soy and sugar.
Exactly. Once you get good at cooking and only use beef tallow, butter, avocado oil and olive oil you can’t eat that crap again. It makes you feel like shit.
Even though I’m 90% carnivore when I cook cake, muffins, brownies I use avocado oil instead of the other junk oils. I’ve found out very quickly how certain foods make me sick when I eat foods I used to eat regular. Even spices and vegetables make me feel sick. It’s amazing and crazy how long I suffered from food and had no idea it was the food.
Cracker Barrel food used to be really good. Last few times the service was awful and the food wasn’t as good. We used to go once a month long time ago. Haven’t been in many years.
I’ll go to Cracker Barrel if I’m out of town. The local one was terrible four years ago. I certainly wouldn’t go there now. I love the pecan pancakes. I’ve tried cooking them at home but they are missing something.
Bob Evans has always been much better. Both are near me, and each have billboards up right now. Bob Evans has 30 meals under $8.99 advertised on the billboard. Cracker Barrel touts they have 12 meals under $12.99.
The trick with ALL food right now is trying to find something without "natural flavors" as an ingredient. You need to question what that is and start digging, then realize how it's in about everything, THEN start comparing who's better than who...
First time in decades I tried to eat at a CB was on a road trip in early 2021. Face diaper patrol at the check-in so I noped out and found a nice mom & pop down the road a piece that had delicious food instead of hypersalted soygravy.
i think America could survive without all these shitty fast food & beer companies.
i'm tired of seeing all the parks & trees being cut down so places like this can be built, so lazy & stupid people can go shove garbage down for $50 a plate & wash it down with piss
good riddance to garbage foods & drinks... & good riddance to "woke"
Their business model has a significant tie to business and leisure travel. Both are down. I really like the food and prices. And the people are always nice. Don’t know about the books. I recall the books being old time real America books. I don’t remember them having anything recent or political ones.

This isn't the collapse of America, fren- that happened awhile ago. This is the demo of the wreckage that precedes the renovation.

Budweiser hasn't been an American business in years.
The people that work there are Americans...
And how many small restaurants were destroyed by these giant chain corporations over the decades?
And are going to , but with the benefit of creating many new opportunities for AMERICANS

Cracker Barrel's breakfast is still pretty good.
We only go a few times a year when we're traveling. Because there are none left in our area.

"I’ve tried cooking them at home but they are missing something."
Same. I try to cook good pancakes but it's always missing something. Now I've been sticking with Bisquick and Jiffy, until I find something better.

Their food sucks almost as much as their attitude.
Wait a minit...
I thought Cracker Barrel was a term to describe a Redneck hot tub.
First time in decades I tried to eat at a CB was on a road trip in early 2021. Face diaper patrol at the check-in so I noped out and found a nice mom & pop down the road a piece that had delicious food instead of hypersalted soygravy.
Since I do not live where there are any Cracker Barrel restaurants, I have only been to one twice.
Both times they were packed to the gills, but the last time was about a year ago while traveling.
Carl T. Berquist is the Chairman of the Board. He is a Republican. Probably more like a RINO.
Sysco slop and partially hydrogenated bullshit. Wake up. It's all shit now. Good riddance. Get over the nostalgia and fantasy of glory days.
And lets not forget that they fired --Brad's wife--...fun times..kek... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZlmUG00OrI&t=452s
The beginning of the end no doubt.

I didn't know that. Well, I suppose they deserve to be put out to pasture with their rainbow-hued rocking chairs.

They are still selling the Constitution booklets
Brads wife never would have banned books.
