It's dawning on me by the hour how many of them knew. Tons of them. They were planning on reporting his death and the uniparty's new gun control efforts the next day, bet on it.
Think about how many talking heads, politicians, and news outlets had the immediate reaction to refuse to call it a shooting or even acknowledge that anything happened at all. Trump fell when he heard loud popping noises? Biden announced there was an incident?
These are the kinds of statements you make about things you hope to sweep under the rug. It was their panicked reaction to the "bad" news that Trump was still alive. They were all expecting "to be just receiving" the news that Trump was dead at the hands of some little lone wolf republican kid with an AR... Instead they got the news that Trump miraculously dodged death and then did a badass fit pump.
They were temporarily discombobulated because they had not yet been given orders on how to react.
Look at how they had their gun control rhetoric and "no political violence' speeches all reared up and ready to go Sunday and Monday... They had to tweak scripts and pull entire shows where they had planned on reporting the death of Trump and the new ban on 'assault weapons.'
That’s why they kept saying “there’s no place for political violence.” It was their talking points for the riots that would ensue after Trump’s assassination.
Also the fact that CNN & MSNBC were carrying the rally live, something they never do.
They wanted a traumatizing snuff film. The entire media is an intelligence operation.

Before this revelation of the massive increase of shorts on the DJT stock, the amount of mainstream press at this rally is what I found to be most supsicious. Someone told them all to be there for the story of the century.
More than likely why Morning Joe was cancelled Monday morning - they had to trash all the story lines and guests they had planned after the assassination attempt failed.

Correct, the shorts will most likely expire worthless. There's always a chance the price of the stock will come back down, but as of now, they are probably worth far less than what they paid for them.
Worse than that, they have to continue to pay borrow fees or buy back the stock if the sold it short.
I think you are confusing shorting a stock which purchasing put options.
Options expire, shorts do not and need to be repurchased.
