Russian hackers Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear left their “Russian” fingerprints all over that DNC hack. Hahahahaha
Russian spies are so predictable, eh?

Russian hackers or was it internal with removing of the data on a USB.
CIA left Russian fingerprints all over the DNC Hack, but you probably already know this, and about Project UMBRAGE. WikiLeaks: CIA hacking group 'UMBRAGE' stockpiled techniques from other hackers
A division of the Central Intelligence Agency stockpiled hacking techniques culled from other hackers, giving the agency the ability to leave behind the "fingerprints" of the outside hackers when it broke into electronic devices, the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks alleges as it released thousands of documents Tuesday.
Mods: please sticky this!!
Thanks for posting, OP. Great summary. We need more historical summaries like this which simply imbed the q drops as part of the sources of knowledge.
this is what ive been waiting on!!! No one is focused the fact that the fix for this involves deleting files relating to falcon sensor and rebooting. Probably disabling falcon sensor.
Falcon sensor is the intrusion detection system. So all of fed.gov including dod and half of the state and local governments have no intrusion detection on windoze machines right now? That would be very bad. They also include voting machines in swing states. Who would want to do that?
Oh you know I'm sure it's just another case of "the Russians..." Gotta have a boogie man. I've been in cyber for 20 years, now they are aain competitor, I see customers freaking out now like crazy... So much technical detail, it's almost impossible to cover.
I don't know anything about computer stuff, but I was just listening to X22 and he was saying this was most likely an action that will enable them to do a cyber attack in the future, on all the computers that were effected. That sounds like what you're describing as well, yes?
Almost sounds like what they did to humans with the covid shots.
I 💕 your name!
i love waking up and seeing this. thank you op
Nothing beats the smell of OSS in the morning!

2 for 2!
Great detailed summary.
Epic! God, I love Patriots!
This was very interesting! Thanks for posting bubble_bursts/
Is there a reason that 3 letter agencies use private companies for cybersecurity? Why not military cybersecurity? Just curious.
Because the private companies are the 3 letter agencies. Plausible deniability
This thread delivers.
Excellent outline!
