Also in the first 'fact' they say his unit was fully sourced. Well, I'm sure it was. It's not like they weren't going replace him. Not sure what that has to do with him leaving.

The deal is if you don't complete a certain series of steps you don't get to retain the rank Command Sgt. Major, you lose the CSM insignia and go down in pay to Master Sgt., 3 up, 3 down. Tampon Boy didn't complete the steps. He is NOT entitled to use the rank CSM.

I would like to see his security clearance paperwork that he filed for last few renewals and what the investigative paperwork says. Walz's stint as a Command Seargent Major was temporary. The Army selects officers for temporary promotion to serve in critical billets through the brevet program and he may be addressed as such as long as he holds the brevet rank. However when he retires, he reverts to his permanent rank. Therefore, he is a retired Master Sergeant, not a Command Sergeant Major. Even if the promotion were a permanent rank, he would have to serve for two years in that rank or be reverted when he retired. The claim to combat is not nuianced. Either he did or didn't. He did not...
