I do wonder about the parents of these missing kids. Are they in the Yucatan waiting to hear that they are safe and sound, having sent them with others to go live a better life? Or, are they responsible for shipping them off to be trafficked in exchange for money? Or, were they lied to and told their kids would have better lives and to trust the coyote, having handed them over once in America? Where is the coverage of these parents pleading for their kids?
Yes, I want to know this too ??? Where are the parents ? This many children they can’t find and interview one set of parents , not one mother explaining why she released her child ? What I like is Tom’s empowerment of the people while waking them up to the signs of an abducted child. Making people aware of the problem, the signs and correct action makes trafficking much harder. Crimes flourish in the dark and that is why this topics have been dismissed, minimized and taboo.
