Flying cars will not be flown by their passengers. They will either be remotely controlled or most likely automated. The capability already exists and is more robust than you would believe.
Edit: FAA is already working on regulations for certification for these types of operations.
I knew automation would be part of it. Either way, I'll stay on the ground and and continue to change course every time i wind up in traffic with a self driving cab. Those things make me nervous.
Where are the aerodynamics, in an emergency being able to glide and maneuver a tiny bit could be helpful? This could come with a parachute for the whole vehicle, but if you need to bail out, a different shaped flying machine would be nice.
Yup! Enough anxiety as it is, now we gotta worry about sky accidents. I don't think flying cars will work.. idc if we're behind in technology there's just no way!
I know why they won't release Aerial "cars", look at the number of assholes on the roads today, do you really want them crashing in homes, yards etc. I mean, I want them, I want access to them, and if that means an elevated license (certification) to do so, so be it.
Do more low altitude flying before you clinch any deals. I thought it would be simple and straightforward until a work colleague invited me for a flight in his 2-seater airplane. All went well, but I was quite surprised at the sensory overload in seeing territory from altitude that I only knew from driving around. It turns out that about 90% of what you can see from the air is not what you see driving on the ground. As a result, it was very difficult to correlate what I was seeing with what I thought I should be seeing. He let me fly it for a while, level and straight, which was fine, but the visual overload was getting to me.
We've had flying cars for about 80 years. They are called helicopters, and it is possible to land one safely if you have a total power-out. There are 2-passenger ultra-lights on the market, instead of dream machines in glitzy showrooms.
HEY! I grew up watching the Jetsons. I have been dreaming of flying cars for years. It's 2025. Give me a bladerunner! P.S. I claim coining the name bladerunner for flying cars.
People can't even drive on the ground. No thanks.
Exactly. Flying cars = bad idea. Most drivers can't handle rules of the road, with lanes. Yet they'll manage free airspace? I'll go hermit instead.
I can imagine the chaos.

Lol. Truth.
Hope you got your shittin pants on...
White leather is a bitch to keep clean 😂😂😂
Question: How many 4x8 sheets of plywood can you bring home in it?
Ha! :D
Cadillac doesn't make trucks anymore
Well knowing Cadillac, it'll break down in about a year.

A BRC WARPS (parachute recovery system) is about 50k installed. That'd be a slight upgrade on your new whip.
That’s the one, thanks! Progressives Dems can pay more beyond the 50k if they want to.
Let's say my Caddy starts missing really bad, poor gas, old plugs, whatever. How fast would it be going when it hit the ground?
Looks like a mock up
They better have a v- 8,and nice pipes..
Me too. I'm not ready for the Jetsons just yet if ever.
Jetson flying car sounds for the effect.
Wonderful.
I wonder what the power source is supposed to be. If electric, I bet these make EVs look like charge misers in comparison.
Great. Something else to drop down from the sky.
Gotta be a millionaire to afford one.
Hell NO!!!!

I feel like if we are ever to really practically have flying cars, it won’t be propeller technology…
Concept = crap
I couldn't see the air bags.
If the vehicle does not bounce when crashed, I am all set.

Uhhhh…these things will be crashing all over the place could you all even imagine the commoner flying???🤔😂
Birds will have to be eradicated.
I've flown enough drones to know I wouldn't ever put myself on one.
Another VERY NOISY ducted fan.
This is going to be a horrible experiment.
Flying cars would let us Alaskans get up ABOVE the ice instead of driving over it. No more snow tires!
