He was a Marine and not an internet guy. Almost all my texts to him were links to posts here.
I too was a Marine, served in Panama mostly and Charleston Naval Base. Did a Caribbean tour, but that was the extent of my sea duty.
For your departed husband, "Hoorah and Semper Fi. "

If he’s a Christian, he is in a muuuuch better place than here. Nothing here is worth a penny compared to what our Heavenly Father has for us. A Christian’s passing should be celebrated. We mourn. But ultimately celebrated. For us that remain have the burdens of this world. Thank you Christine for sharing your husband’s character. I totally get that phrase annoyingly jubilant. LoL. Sounds like he was an amazing man. Nice shirt!
He was very involved in our church. One of our recurring arguments had to do with him wearing this shirt to Mass. But he did a lot of red pilling there.

During Isaac Kappy's last stream a day or so before he was killed, he answered the following question in such a way that it always stuck with me.
Someone asks: "Are we living in the end times?"
Isaac Kappy: "No! We are living in the BEGINNING TIMES! Although I probably won't be around for the first part of it." (emphasis his)

He knew everyone who passed away before the golden age would be born again into it.

He is watching from heaven. I imagine he's at the big watch party with my mother who passed in July 2021 (also a huge fan).
They are celebrating for us. I can almost feel my mom's excitement. If only I could pick up the phone to hear it.

My Experience happened in the Navy after my pilot ran our plane off the runway at 135knots. I was the flight engineer and had a front row seat to all of it.
