Misplaced anger. Your prime minister did this to you. The U.S. is taking care of our elected officials mis deeds. YOU, CANADA, have to do the same. Years, and years of liberalism cannot be corrected in a day. Get a hold of YOUR government hold them accountable. Don't blame your neighbor for your situation. Remember the truckers convoy, that was Canada trying to wake you up and tell you you're in trouble. Look at what the traitors in your government did. They were silenced. FIX YOUR HOUSE. Stop blaming everyone else ITS YOUR GOVERNMENT DOING THIS TO YOU.
Keep in mind that this game was played in Montreal (Canadian San Francisco). They have the same problems with the cities as we do.
I watched this game. Gotta love the Tkachuk brothers. Pure American. There were tons of huge hits in this game almost all going from the Americans towards the Canadians. This was not your typical All Star game and Im loving the format.
Then my boy Dylan Larkin scored the game winner. Hes spent his entire career in my area. Born in the Detroit area, played for the USNTDP based in Canton Michigan as an U18 (my nephew is in this program as an U16 goalie as a 14 year old but may make the step up next season to the senior team. Kids gonna play in the NHL), then at my alma mater, Univ. of Michigan, and now with the Red Wings.
Canada has too many liberals & that's why we don't need it as the 51st state - it would definitely affect our elections. Keep 51 as a nickname though because that's funny!!
Guys, we Canadians are NOT majorly "as liberal as fuck". We have exactly the same problem you did. Did you really vote for Biden? Are your blue libs not concentrated in your bigger cities? Were your politicians in power telling you the truth for the last 4 years (9 in Canada)?
We are much more the same than you think.
Canada has a bad reputation in America for thinking we're better than you. But this is coming from the hard blue-haired left, not the sensible majority. We conservatives are supporting you and Trump's administration 100%, even though it may mean some hardship for us. And there are way more of us than the corrupt media in both our countries would have you believe.
Sometimes we are referred to as your Cousins to the North. But in truth, we are your brothers. Peace!
They have the same demographics as we do. Their big cities are blue and full of rat shit and the countryside is conservative. Their elections are stolen same as ours. You must have missed the Canadian People lining 2000 miles of highway when it was 20 below zero to see the Trucker caravan. My wifes family lives all over southern Ontario between Toronto and Windsor, my grandmas whole family lives in NS and I dont know a single one of them who supports Trudeau and the kleptocracy.
Why do we continue to mistake the megaphone that legacy media provides these pukes as widespread support? Its like many of us have learned squat these last 9 years.
Yep! Professional corporate sports are a cancer on our society. They were designed to distract and entertain us while the evil ones created the deep state. Collectively sports fans are idiots, it's all about "choosing" sides.
While the Gentiles are distracted with Sports, a more serious group of men are taking control of all our Power Structures. This is a good time to start taking them back.
Hmmm. Should we care about hockey? But I very much do care that our northern "allies" would booo our national anthem. They get a lot from us, I'm not saying bow down to the United States, but at least show a wee bit of respect. That was a lot of Canadians no showing respect towards America. Maybe instead of calling it Canada we could simply rename it "51".
Horrible behavior to boo the national anthem! These Quebec and Ontario units don't speak for the majority of Canadian's. They disgust and grossly embarrass us. My sincerest apologies to Americans!
Fact is they are very much automatons... tv said fly Ukrainian flag... tv said get stabbed in arm with poison... tv said follow trudy in now being mad at neighbor... be no class degenerate and boo anthem... duh otay
Do you remember the time when, in a game in Canada, the speakers malfunctioned and the American national anthem got cut off in mid-play? The Canadian spectators all picked it up and sang it loudly themselves to give proper honor to our American brethren.
That's the real Canada. Don't let this hiccup, engineered by our stupid liberal government, split us apart.
FA with the USA and FO. They're 6-0 so keep at it.
I'm proud of their comments:
When asked about the reception, USA alternate captain and Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk simply said, 'I didn't like it. That's all I got.'
'I think we like it,' said New York Rangers forward JT Miller. 'Not politically, but maybe just as a sense of, we know where we're at in Canada and I think that fires us up more than anything. So it's great.'
'Everyone has their own views on things,' said Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber. 'I'm honored to wear the red, white and blue. For us, we're just focused on winning games.'
Team USA coach Mike Sullivan, who also coaches the Pittsburgh Penguins, says the booing won't distract the team from its intended goal of winning the tournament and that everyone in the locker room is honored to represent the nation. 'These guys are hockey players, and they're here to play hockey,' Sullivan said. 'They're also proud Americans and it's a privilege to represent your nation, and all of us that have the opportunity to participate and be part of this U.S. team. It means a lot to all of us. 'We just want to play hockey. We want to compete. We want to represent our nation in the right way.'
No matter the result against Sweden, the US has secured its place in the gold medal game. They lead with 6 points and Sweden, Canada and Finland all have 2. Canada plays Finland and US plays Sweden next. I suspect Canada will come out on top of this group and have a rematch with the US on Thursday.
That game will be played in Boston at the TD Center. It will be interesting to see how the Boston fans treat the Canadian National Anthem. While not Philly fan classless, Boston fans run a close second. (Philly fans bombarded Santa Claus with ice balls and batteries. No, really they did.)
Hockdy games are usually pretty fun to attend in person. Playoffs are off the chart. Everyone has always respected each others anthems. I don't know how this doesn't turn into a brawl. I can't imagine someone booing during the anthem right next to me.
This anthem stuff started several years ago when the World Juniors were held in Canada. I think it was in Vancouver. It was sometime in the first Trump term.
Actually, I have no malice towards my northern neighbors. They are great people. I truly believe it would be a fantastic thing to have them become a part of the United States. The choice is theirs to make.
The 4 Nation Face Off was kinda bland until The US and Canada decided to make it entertaining and drop the gloves. BTW I've watched Parayko his whole career and didn't know the big boy could fight. You know after the game both teams are buying each other beers.
Yea 9 seconds in you know the guys were talking about it before the game. This was planned. I played a lot of hockey and while something like this happening during the Wings-Avs rivalry or the Broadstreet Bullys doing this wouldnt be surprising it doesnt happen in glorified All Star games.
Brady Tkachuk is Captain of the Ottawa Senators. Born in the US and is Captain of Canadas capitol city hockey team. You just have to know big Walt was laughin' his ass off with his boys in the box.
Fighting is part of hockey. It doesn't get out of control, and comes with penalties. But there is an intensity to this sport that allows it. Either you get it, or you don't.
They sent a message because they're proud, competitive, and love their country.
It's a sight to see.
It was awesome and I guess the fights surprised me a little. The intensity to start the game was amazing. Hockey is pretty non-political compared to the NBA and NFL but there's a political element that has creeped into these games.
It's kind of amusing seeing the two things I follow most, hockey and politics, overlap in my X feed.
I believe most Canadians are happy about socialism coming to an end. . Dor.tje minority that are brainwashed i guess they'll have to het used to it like the libtards down here.
It would be funny to see a stadium full of Americans and when Canada's national anthem ends, the whole stadium goes silent, no cheering just silence. Wouldn't be as disrespectful as booing, but it would be glorious. Show them we don't even think about America's hat that is Canada.
Might have a chance to see it Thursday. USA is already in the gold medal game at TD Garden in Boston and Canada will likely be if they can beat Finland.
Google March 27th 1997 wings avs fight. Then get back to me.
Or any Wings Maple Leafs game in the 80s with Probert, Kocur and Domi on the ice.
Whats a Gordie Howe hat trick? A goal, an assist and a fight.
These guys skate around with weapons in their hands. They crush each other along the boards. Fighting in hockey has always been there to allow the players to police the cheap stuff. If youve never played hockey though you will never understand.
I used to be when Canadiens players were from Quebec, Leafs players were from Ontario and they weren't millionaires working for billionaires.
I gave up on the NHL when they expanded from the original six. There used to be 12 great players at the time: now with dozens of teams, they might have 5 great players.
The teams no longer have anything in common with the cities in which they are based.
It's all about the cash.
Harold Ballard stopped paying for top players when he realized Toronto fans would show up no matter how badly the Leafs did. He traded away good players when they became expensive and laughed all the way tothe bank. They haven't won a Stanley Cup since 1967 but they still sell out.
💯 accurate. Those who attend professional sporting events are indirectly funding human trafficking and the Illuminati. Besides many professional players say that the games are fixed beforehand.
OK liberal... now call me a racist to show us how intelligent you are and keep feeding the NHL cash by watching.
I'm willing to bet that like most fans, you've never come close to playing hockey.
Misplaced anger. Your prime minister did this to you. The U.S. is taking care of our elected officials mis deeds. YOU, CANADA, have to do the same. Exactly. Civil servants laughing at their tax cattle getting riled up over a game.
There will be more and more distractions to stop the spread of DOGE.
Keep in mind that this game was played in Montreal (Canadian San Francisco). They have the same problems with the cities as we do.

Yeah! We were so supportive for their truckers! Castro was in the crowd.
The arena was filled with liberals.
Take Alberta.
Canada has too many liberals & that's why we don't need it as the 51st state - it would definitely affect our elections. Keep 51 as a nickname though because that's funny!!
As a Canadian, I approve this Comment.
Guys, we Canadians are NOT majorly "as liberal as fuck". We have exactly the same problem you did. Did you really vote for Biden? Are your blue libs not concentrated in your bigger cities? Were your politicians in power telling you the truth for the last 4 years (9 in Canada)?

They do the same thing to Californians.
I kinda like the idea of a non representative territory.
They’d get used to seeing George Washington on their money.
"All sports fans are idiots" ? Really? Pretty broad brush, Smeg.
Agreed.
Ironically in hockey there is a +/- rating.
His isn't looking to good...kek

They're still upset about their world junior ice hockey team's 4th place finish last month which was won by.....Oh yeah, the USA!
Again.

I guess the hab's will soon find out.....

Yup lol.
Kayfabe is good to enjoy.
HEY CANADA!!! Why you so salty? Lolololololololololololololz!!!
Because the game took place in the most liberal of Canadian cities. The salt flows up here, too!
I like it with the music

USA
Not mentioned by Catturd is that the United States beat Canada 2-1.
3-1. Dylan Larkin scored the game winner in the second with an empty netter at the end when Canada pulled the goalie for an extra attacker.
I forgot about the empty net goal.
DL is short for download, as in youtube-dl. DL for the win! When? Soon?

All "sports" fans are idiots.
They watch the games while their politicians steal them blind
With a comment like that you must be a huge hockey fan being a Canadian and all..

Just more distraction allowing the bad guys to walk all over people and take over nations.
Ill bet I am more intelligent than you by an order of magnitude. And I LOVE hockey. Dont like the politics of the NHL but I LOVE hockey.
OK liberal... now call me a racist to show us how intelligent you are and keep feeding the NHL cash by watching. I'm willing to bet that like most fans, you've never come close to playing hockey.
Right lol. Im a liberal hahaha. Shills are so stupid.
You liberals think they are smarter than everyone else...
Thanks for playing.
So you are admitting you are a liberal. Thanks for playing.
