Yes, but for now it seems to give relief to the people that need it the most, those that are struggling with basic living expenses. They won't be saving this money it will go right back into the economy.
I'm good with it so far. It's relief for the working class and seniors.
Who knows where we end up. I've never been a fan of taxing labor. Tariffs and domestic consumption taxes are fairer, more transparent, immediate and much easier to assess and oversee.
They need to rescind Bush's tax breaks to corporations that outsource jobs out-of-country if those haven't been cancelled already.
Corporations as a form of business need to go away, it concentrates too much power in the hands of a few who aren't the majority owner most of the time. We own them They run things.

I know this is step one, but think about how CONgress always works. They will take this shell, send it to the Senate to get on the same page, then back to the House where RINOs and Demons will start horse-trading for votes. That's like: If you don't add a trans-only post office to my hometown I'm a no vote.
More importantly, that's also where members try to force pet programs in and stuff they don't like out. "If you don't take out the no taxes on xyz I'm a no and the government will shutdown." Stuff will be removed because the reds never stand up to the blues - even if we outnumber them.

This is for FY2025 - which started October 1 last year.
You are filing taxes for CY2024. Since we are in CY2025 and the tax regulations we are using were valid for CY2024 nothing will change this filing.
I doubt it. Would be unusual. The collections have already begun. No refunds

Exactly, nearly $300 billion per year for 10 years to a nearly $3 trillion deficit increase. I see some hating on Massie but isn't this pork EXACTLY what we want to stop being thrown into otherwise good legislation?
If trump is doing this then he knows something we don't. Our debt is so bad already that piling this on if its spent on U.S. is not going to have the impact normally expected. I'm willing to bet the rothchild trillions have been seized.

With all the news on our misspelt money it should have contained a tax cancelation provision. No more filing slave paperwork.

How about following the time honored existing laws and have a budget approved NLT July for the upcoming fiscal year starting in October as mandated by federal budget laws????? Yeah no more Continuing Resolutions that has been made to believe is the normal way to do government operating budgets....
