Could be seen as disrespectful by some, but my dad reported, after attending a large funeral in the Netherlands, that a lot of people don't wear black at funerals these days.

I do not wear black to a funeral anymore. It is supposed to be a celebration of life.
This funeral for many (like me) is indeed a celebration, but for other reasons.
It's the fact that the corrupt, globalist bastard is finally dead....
It is only a celebration if the deceased one is not close to you. A parent burying a child or a spouse burying a mate is a time of mourning even if you are a Christian!

Why is it every time I see POTUS in a group of these "international leaders" I think of it as him being surrounded by jackals or in the middle of a viper's nest? May God continue to protect POTUS, FLOTUS and all the good people there amongst the demons. 🙏✝️

Up late. 1:52am. My youngest daughter (13) is having a sleepover with 3 of her giggly friends. They’re still awake. My wife is sleeping through it but not I, yet. It’s kinda fun hearing them through the walls or doors. They all won’t be like that much longer, so I guess it’s kind of a joy to hear, remember being young like that and the thrill/fun of staying up.
Of course they chitter-chat waaaay more than boys do I think. More than I ever did with my buddies spending the night. But it’s fun to know they’re having the type of fun that, as far as we know or “remember”, only happens once.

Navy blue and black are both respectable colors. I remember when Melania was mocked at the Carter funeral for wearing a nice grey suit. Silly.

Big difference in attire vs Jimmy Carter funeral. Plus, looking at the video of plane arrival and watching FLOTUS mannerisms deplaning doesn't look like her. Even photos of her at funeral seem a bit off. No big sunglasses and hair looks different. Have to wonder if it was her double attending?
Look at Melania's face here, wrinkles, she looks like she is wearing a mask, look at the eyes, deep set.

crikey, that still image does not look like her at all! I also noticed that when she left the WH for Marine One, she was wearing ballet flats for shoes. I've never seen her wear them before - it's always stilettos or some kind of trainers.
That was going to be my next comment re:shoes! Flats are not the norm. Plus she didn't appear to have the confidence which FLOTUS exhibits extremely well. Plus, the hand holding appeared to be more of an assurance factor. If anything, Melanie has been know to brush or swat Trumps hand away and doesn't need guidance.
The Vatican is probably not the place to wear stilettos. Not because of them being stilettos or being too racy or whatever, but because of the many cobblestone walkways. St Peter's square also has them. I'm sure she knew that and planned accordingly.
