That said, the post content I would say is really dodgy anyway, because it comes via a drafting (exploiting) name recognition account. Nothing to do with Charlie Kirk.
OP should have recognized this immediately and posted in a frame that is something like "rumor/unverified", even if posting it for eyes on.
But adding the BOOM directly implies "this story is real/bona fide/awesome!!" Which of course cannot be said by the content alone.
The problem is, frogs posting to the board need to be able to apply this MINIMAL level of effort when posting. Otherwise, the trend towards low-effort low-quality posting just increases...
Yes, I think this is a good point. And, posting 'information' to generate discussion and analysis is a positive thing. But I guess the real issue I have here is an upvote score of 240+ but max 40 comments. So a LOT of frogs reading the board are upvoting this low-quality content without even thinking.
