Quite simple. We are both 80 years old. Healthy (no jab) Eat as much organic as we can find. Buy from a local farm for meat and eggs.
Hubby still works at Home Depot. I still keep up the house and cooking. So why this post?
Because we have both come to the conclusion that we will not listen to anything posted, on FOX, on X, because we no longer believe we are being told the truth about anything from anyone.
We have, quite simply, decided to live our lives as if we live in peace and harmony. We have, quite simply, decided to not believe one damn thing we hear on the podcasts, Fox, or anywhere.
And, in doing so, my Blood Pressure has normalized. My attitude has turned 100% to Christ.
I suggest you all do the same. In Jesus' name I pray. 🙏

Did this, it worked very well. My energy attracted a woman, we married, and our first born son is only a few weeks away.
Now, I cannot pretend the world outside does not exist and swipe any traces of it under the rug. That would be extremely irresponsible.
But sure; if my wife and I live to reach our 80s, maybe we will start letting the guard down, but not now. No way.

Turning off the "news" years ago is the best thing we ever did. We hung in there with "local news" till about 8 years ago just for weather, upcoming community stuff, but we noticed the horrible bias, found ourselves yelling at the screen etc., so that was it. I get what I want to know from many of the same sites you all do. At 74 , I'm more at peace since we exited the BS msm.....

At 75, I have lived to see 2 bogus wars take hundreds of thousand lives, based on lies. I have lived to see a President assassinated, his assassin killed on television by a mob connected nobody, diseases started in laboratories that kill innocent people, and lies upon lies inflicted on the people. My energy is a commodity that is usually used up by 5pm, I live with chronic pain. With the time I have left, I grow more flowers, teach my adult son the tricks of the trade regarding soil, growing food,, and survivalist tactics. I am tired Boss, following the world and it's evils have my attention,but not too much of the time I have left. I look for the signs that Jesus spoke to us about in the Gospels, and they are everywhere. I take most preachers with a grain of salt, especially if they are trying to get their hands in my pockets. I will be a Christian in good times, I will be a Christian in bad times.
I rarely get on Facebook but someone sent me something from there yesterday. When I went back to my main feed immediately there was some old friend's wife ranting and mocking about Trump. It was a very misinformed post filled with MSM lies.
It reminded me how toxic it is out there and life is so much better away from the noise.

Great life advice in general. I do not consume mass media online or through televisoin/radio.
I am still more aware of world events than most people but I am also not pulled to sway with emotions based off of someone else's opinions or slanted news bites.
From another 80 year old. I'm sorry about how you feel. But as a first generation American and knowing what my parents went through and how much they loved this country I have to know what's going on.
I combine your approach with with the Q approach. I trust God while I do my part to find truth in open-sourced documents (thanks to many of you anons and Q's lessons) and share them far and wide. All the while, I feel joy and gratefulness because God is in control.
And think of how many lives we literally saved by actively sharing information about Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and the covid vaccines. Thank goodness we are staying active. I am sure you and your husband have also saved others. Good job.

I've taken breaks on occasion over the past decade, and it was quite peaceful. Always got back in the battle, but if you need a break, take a break. Sometimes it gets hard to hear the Lord over the din of constant noise, and just reconnecting with HIM, spending time with HIM is necessary 👍🇺🇲

Fox often features Republican politicians speaking their own words with their own mouths. I find that useful.
That IS truth: the truth that these people I elected are actually saying these words. It wasn't filtered through some wobbleheaded news reader. Now I myself get to decide if what's being said is true and consistent, or is BS.
The other networks only have democrat politicians, and the occasional RINO. Fox is still head and shoulders above the left wing MSM from the standpoint of being pro-Trump and pro-America as a baseline. Just my opinion, but as usual it happens to be right—in my opinion ;)
