How many where just them trying to scaremonger like all the "OMG HEAT WAVE" warnings when it was no hotter than a typical summer day? We had flood warnings here and but then hardly any actual rain.
Theres been floods all over the place. MA, NYC, NJ, ofc TX. Also hearing that OH and KY have gotten random terrential rain events. Its very real but doesnt seem natural

I'm glad you've picked up on this. It is the politicians and MSM 'screaming from the rooftops' theme here in the UK this week. Klaus and chums already told us early on in NOvid that there would also be 'climate lockdowns' in future. They already did what they said they would once, people prepared to ignore or brush this off now are denser than pigshit.
Plenty of times we've seen it pointed out that the temps they're screaming about have been happening every summer for decades already. I remember experiencing hotter summers in my area back in the 90s than we do these days.
Never seen rain like this in VA except from Hurricanes and tropical storms. Cloud seeding during the day and night for the past 6 months. We had thunderstorms from yesterday evening until about 6 am this morning. It just wouldn't stop. Flooding in cities/counties all around us. Neighbors rain gauge showed 5 inches.
I'm in NJ, and my observation is this; Areas that normally flood, because they're near rivers, such as Passaic, Paterson, and others, are the ones really getting hammered. The amounts of rain in a short time has been phenomenal, but I'm not seeing much regarding river flooding. When that happens there's usually a lot of talk about how the rivers reached flood stage, breached their banks, what flood stage is, etc.,. These recent events seem to be only related to enormous amounts of water from rainfall. Yes, rivers have contributed to the floods, but they're also taking place in towns not near large bodies of water.

3 years in a row on the very same day, July 10th, Vermont had rainfalls that exceeded 5inches in two hours, this past event was nowhere as widespread as 23 and 24, but roads were still washed out, paved roads, and a few homes and farms were once again flooded, with stores of grain and hay destroyed, manufactured homes washed out. On the same day, how does this happen, to the date? One more year and it will be a state holiday.
Northern Europe has been super rainy as well. Even on dry days the humidity is thick in the air.

I'll throw a theory that goes the other direction: I'm seeing a lot fewer ***trails the last few months (really since Turmp took office). Maybe "normal" is for there to be more rain?
